I purchased this simply because I hate wires and didn't feel like running a sub wire up and over my living room. I was a little afraid that I would lose some sound quality by going wireless but I can't tell any difference at all. I am very pleased with this product!

This item was recommended by a friend so I could go wireless. Wow, I had no idea how easy it would be. Basically plug stuff in, power it up and boom you have sound. It even paired itself. Electronic for the unskilled.

Good product. At first I kept getting a lot of skipping when my music played (esp. with bass) at a decent level. This was when I had the receiver sitting on top of the subwoofer. once I set it away from the receiver a good distance (~12 inches) that fixed the problem. Other than that, no problems!!

I bought this kit so I can put the subwoofer across the room. I have the wireless kit for the rear channel speakers and it works wonderfully. The sub was ez to set up. Get one if you need to have no wires Or you need more distance.

The choice between expensive wires for the long run to the back of my room. Or going wireless, I figured I would give it a try. I haven't had a problem yet and was half the price.

Work pretty good when it's just not practical to run wire. Nothing is going to compare to an actually wired connection but this product does a great job when you can't. Occasionally will drop signal but for the most part performs well.

Used this product to send my subwoofer signal wirelessly to the other side of my living room, about 15 ft away. Does not require direct line of sight. Strong signal with a couch and entertainment center in the way of the transmitter and receiver. There is a short delay in switching the units on once they sense signal, but I have not noticed any delay in sub response once active. No interference with the other 2.4G devices in my home and no hum through the subwoofer, which was a concern before purchase.

I did spend lot of time on internet looking for wireless sub woofer transmitter. This was very simple to set and works great. It pairs quickly when ever you start music. I have about 15 ft length and no walls in between, it works perfectly.

This device allowed me to move my subwoofer to an unobtrusive location in my living room. I connected up with no issue and reconnects whenever the sound system is turned on.

I would give it 5 stars but the sub seems to turn off when there is no low tones, which is ok but when some low tones hit, it can sometimes delay or make a bass pop sound when it comes back on.

I purchased this unit with caution as some reviewers had issues. I have to say this works perfectly. I needed to move my subwoofer to the back of the room and did not want to have a wire running around the room. I have this wireless kit running in the same room with a rocketfish wireless rear speaker kit and my home network router and there is no interference. I have a high end subwoofer and only use high end cables so I was very hesitant about using a wireless kit. However using the supplied cable from my audio receiver to the sub transmitter and a high quality cable from the sub receiver to the subwoofer, the sound is the same as with cables. I would definitely recommend this unit.

Great..and Issues...but could have been my AVR

In the interest of full disclosure I returned mine...although the reason I returned it may have been an issue of my particular AVR and not the Rocketfish unit...detailed below. I bought the Rocketfish wireless subwoofer unit as we have a large room, wanted the sub at the opposite end from the surround receiver, and running the wiring properly posed issues due to one of the walls and access below. It was very easy to set up...basically make RCA and power connections for both sender and then receiver, the led color changes to indicate that its paired and you are good to go! Truly that easy. I did have a couple issues however: 1-There is a bit of a delay but I was able to compensate by adjusting the distance/delay settings on my Denon AVR (set sub distance 'greater' and AVR therefore reduces the surround delay which will compensate for the little bit of wireless lag in the RF sender/receiver). 2- The unit would kick in and out of sending signal at lower volumes. If I ran at higher volume it was fine, but at lower to moderate volume it was on/off, on/off. I tried various setting adjustments on the Denon and was not able to get it to be consistent at lower volumes. Like I said, I cant say for sure it was the unit and not my receiver. I dont have clipping w/ sub wired direct, but the receiver may not have been pushing enough power at lower volume for the RF to send? It does go into standby, but that's only supposed to be after a period of inactivity and the led on the RF was staying steady 'On'.. I would not recommend against buying. The RF certainly couldn't make it any easier to get a sub installed without having to run wiring and once adjusted it was great at mid-high volume...just wish I could have gotten the lower end clipping figured out!

This kit works well in terms of getting the subwoofer signal with minimal delay wirelessly. The problem is that it periodically thumps in the middle of playback. It seems that, when a scene is playing that has little or no base, the unit must enter a low power mode. As soon as it gets sufficient bass signal, it wakes back up and thumps before operating normally, which generally sounds very out of place. This is a very repeatable problem.

I bought this to add a wireless connection between my sub and receiver. It has worked as advertised and have had no issues. My sub is approximately 10 ft away from my receiver and have had no connectivity issues.

I was hesitant about trying one of these for the simple fact that wireless technology doesn't always give great sound reproduction... I can't however really tell a difference from when it was wired.
