Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the wireless feature, easy setup, and sound quality of the Wireless Subwoofer Transmitter/Receiver Kit. They appreciate the convenience of not having to run wires across the floor and the fact that the sound quality does not suffer from the wireless connection. However, some customers have experienced issues with delay, low volume, connection problems, limited range, and a few have even reported that they could not get it to work at all.

The only wireless solution under a few hundred dollars. Sometimes the wireless connection need to be reconnected. This can be a hassle but if you don't want to spend a few hundred, this may be a good solution.

Wanted to have flexibility in positioning sub woofer in a large room. This was a great solution suggested by a geek squad member. Works like a charm. Need to be able to adjust the volume for your sub to maximize the value.

Good For Some, Just Not Me

The setup was super easy, flexible, and everything needed is included. The downside for me was it's operation... to cut down on feedback the signal goes dead when there is little bass present causing a delay and gradual increase in volume once the bass comes in. For my setup and sound system I noticed this delay and it drives me nuts. I also experienced some cutting out causing loud popping noises periodically, but this is likely due to the concentration of wifi devices in my living room. For most gamers and movie watchers this system would be adequate and was a heck of a lot easier than running 35' of expensive subwoofer cable to setup, but in the end, I settled for the cables.

Very easy to set up, works well, but is a little quieter than normal. Very slight delay. Both sides have to be plugged in, and are always on. I ended up returning just to get a wire, more work but sounds better in my opinion.

    Disappointed

Upon initial hookup, I put on a blu ray movie and immediately noticed that there was a delay in the subwoofer responding to scenes with explosions in them. There was only about 3 feet separating the sending unit from the receiving unit with a wall of drywall separating the two (my audio/video receiver was set up in behind the wall in order to keep all units and wires out of sight). The only thing I could assume was that this product requires line of sight to work properly. Unfortunately because of this problem, I returned the product.

wireless subwoofer kit was a great buy but unfortunately with the wireless rear Speaker kit and everything else I have it caused it to malfunction.

Great product. Clean bass . Have it set 20 feet from my sound bar. 75% line of sight. Set up was great. The auto process kicked in. A bonus, the auto shut off powers off the sub woofer when I turn off the sound bar. Great product that eliminated all the wires.

Used this to connect subwoofer that on other side of room. Worked really well. Sometimes the 2 units disconnect but resetting it fixed it. No issues after that.

We recently moved and needed a solution to run the surround sound in our new living room. We didn't want to drill holes in the hardwood floors, so we found the wireless subwoofer transmitter. Works like a charm!

I bought this to obviously remote station my bowers and wilkens sub. I noticed some sort of odd signal/sound coming from the sub at lower volumes so I unhooked the system. I hooked the sub straight up to the receiver and no more issues.

Works pretty good, except for the thing never goes into standby even though the sound system is off. It will randomly drop a single 400 bass note and scare the heck out of everything in the house.

Using this to transmit regular left and right audio from a TV on the wall to an av receiver across the room. I also have another set of these that I use for subwoofer and both work great.

The choice between expensive wires for the long run to the back of my room. Or going wireless, I figured I would give it a try. I haven't had a problem yet and was half the price.

The Rocketfish - Wireless Subwoofer Transmitter/Receiver Kit worked great and was easy to connect. It made it where I could move sub-woofer away from my receiver and not have wires ran all the way around the room.

So it was super easy to connect but when no sound is being beamed to it for a few second I hear a loud pump in the sub when it receives the bass signals. Kinda annoying.

I bought this to put my sub about 10-15 feet from the receiver. I followed the instructions to a T. I got it to work for a total of maybe 5 seconds combined from the time I hooked it up until I put it back into the bag to return 3 hours later. At one point I had the transmitter and receiver about 6 feet apart with nothing in between them to interfere with reception. It still didn't work. I decided to just run a cable instead.

Does what it says. Beats running a wire to the other side of the room or under the house, or through the attic. Probably cheaper than wire if you have far to go.
