Customers are saying
Customers are impressed with the wireless feature, easy setup, and sound quality of the Wireless Subwoofer Transmitter/Receiver Kit. They appreciate the convenience of not having to run wires across the floor and the fact that the sound quality does not suffer from the wireless connection. However, some customers have experienced issues with delay, low volume, connection problems, limited range, and a few have even reported that they could not get it to work at all.

Don't really work
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hate having to run surround wires in an existing home and after having just purchased a new home I looked for another way. I thought these were just what I was looking for when I saw them at BB. Unfortunately they don't really work except at high volume and even then they seem to miss all but the strongest bass missing the lower level bass. When listening at lower volume they pretty much go inactive. I thought maybe the cheap RCA cables were the cause so I replaced them with some nicer ones I had around and I think it may have helped a little but not much. I ran my old sub cable across the floor and things sound great while I return these and look for another solution.

Too much delay
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I couldn't get a tight bass with this thing. There is a delay of the signal and with bass, especially for music, that's not good. I'm a musician myself and there is nothing worse than a lagging bass. I tried messing with my distance and delay settings on my receiver but i couldn't find one that I was happy with. It might be alright for movies but for music, I need a direct connection. I have the rocketfish wireless rear speaker kit too and that works fine even with a tad bit of delay because with high frequencies you wont notice it that much. But with low frequencies, timing is everything.

Works fine.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to use this wireless sub setup with the depth of my room. Does a good job, sometimes can be touchy.

Good product, but....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was excited at first to get this. Installation went like a flash. Sub was strong enough to fill the room. However, there was an immediate lag in sound when playing fast music. Didnt notice so much in movies, but we realize thats only because we cant anticipate the sub. In a fast song with rhythmic beat it sounded to be slightly off beat. Taking this back to B.Buy asap.

Did not work with my subwoofer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I believe this only works to transmit the sound signal, but does not have enough power to drive the subwoofers that don't have their own power plug. My subwoofer is part of a home theater amplifier (a sony bravia 1000w "creap" system bought in 2005) and is powered by the amplifier itself, so I was skeptical that the wireless kit would have enough amplification to drive it - and I was right, unfortunately. The speaker wire has a proprietary sony plug, so I had to also cut the wire and buy 2 speaker-wire-to-RCA kits to complete the connection. The amplifier has an auto-calibration feature where it plays some loud tones though all the speakers to set the surround sound. At this point the subwoofer sounded so low that the calibration ended in error. I disassembled my wiring and returned everything. I already had another kit for the surround speakers which has worked for many years and didn't seem to interfere with this second kit.

They don't work
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Plain and simple, this system sucks. My speakers didn't produce any sounds after about two weeks. The first two weeks weren't much better though, the speakers were very faint, I didn't have this problem when they were connected via the Audio cables. 0/10 I would never recommend these to anyone

Not worth it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As others have mentioned, the sub occasionally thumps/pops incredibly loudly. No amount of tinkering in my receiver settings and with my sub itself will alleviate this. Going to return it. This is surprising since Rocketfish's wireless speaker bridge works perfectly for me.

Dead on Arrival!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace an old version because it was popping. The replacement didn't work at all. I waited too long to hook it up and now I can't return it. I will never buy anything "Rocketfish" again.

Cuts in and Out with Popping Noise
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Garbage. Sub sits about 15 ft. away from sender in direct line of site and it cuts out every 10-15 seconds. Every time it cuts out, a loud popping sound occurs. Completely useless. Just hardwire your sub until better technology comes out.

look elsewhere
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.bought this to relocate my sub and not have to run 25' of cable. constantly goes into standby even after tweaking receiver settings and sub level, causing a loud "thump" every time it comes back on.

Does not work as expected
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the wireless kit for my new subwoofer. It did not transmit the base signal at all. It popped occasionally and would let out a sudden burst of base sound. I purchased in person at the store, so I didn't read reviews. After having problems, I read reviews, and found other people were commenting on the popping, so I exchanged them for a new box, in case I got a bad one. Not so much, the second one wouldn't transmit at all. I returned for full refund, and purchased a different, well reviewed wireless kit online and it works as if it was wired. Don't buy this brand.
