    I bought this for the kids to get their feet wet playing guitar (along with a Squier Strat). It is a great start to learning guitar and covers even more than I expected such as basic picking technique, holding the guitar properly while sitting or standing etc., and of course goes on to more advanced playing, all while keeping it fun. An actual teacher is still needed to correct bad habits etc., but this is a great start or supplement to regular lessons, and a lot more fun.

    This game is truly amazing. I bought it with the intention of learning how to play guitar and in two months I have obtained enough skill to confidently say that I can play guitar...to some degree. This game rewards patience and perseverance, and if you have both you will lost definitely love this game.

    Played this on PS3 but was not able to dedicate as much time as I wanted to (other obligations) but since I have more time now I am going to try it again. Was learning pretty well the first time through and like how all my old content that I purchased will be available to re-download.
