I initially purchased for the ps3 and my wife purchased this for me for the ps4. Great value with the gamers club in my opinion. The training sessions are at your pace which is helpful even if youve been playing for a few years and the beginner. Recommended.

I have the original rocksmith and to tell you the truth is don't notice much of a difference.. regardless there's nothing wrong with this game but if you're looking to save a few bucks I would buy the original.

Got this for my 10 yr old son. He has been playing solid now for a bit without losing steam. He is very motivated to play and learn. Great! I want to try it myself, played it once and I see the potential.

This is a typical Rockband game. If you are a fan of the series then you should enjoy this game. I do wish it included a bit more content and/or the prices of add-on content were not so out of touch with reality.

My kids (7 and 10) wanted to play the guitar... rather than investing a lot of money, thought we'd try this. It does a very good job of teaching how to play - the jury is still out on how effective it is.

Concept is great, especially if you've never played and you really like all the bands, which is mostly heavy metal and hard rock. It can get a bit repetitive at times, but that's what learning guitar is - slow it down and repeat over and over until you get it right.

I only had time to play once with the game. The initial setup was easy and straightforward. The game asks enough information from you to ensure the instructions are spot on. As far as the interface it is very guitar heroish but you are playing a real guitar.

The program is fun and so far good. Only 2 downside, first the cable provided can provide a fair amount of static making it hard to hear. Second, they don't really do a great job explaining everything like how long should an open note sound.

The disc comes with a cord that plugs into the guitar and the front USB connector. The program takes you through many types of guitar tuning quickly and easily. Many songs to choose from and difficulty levels. Definitely worth purchasing.

This product works to actually teach you how to play a real guitar rather than some Rockband fake guitar thing. It actually does work, but it takes time and patience. Be careful of the cord, it is very sensitive and can break easily.

I owned this game back on Xbox 360. Great buy and fun way to learn guitar. Def recommend this game in teaching self learners. Fun and challenging mini games. Love that I can use my old guitar to play withou buying a specific one.

The remastered version is well worth it; UI updates and more technique building makes this a great game/tool.....
