I like that it runs most games at 60FPS on normal/high settings (depending on the game). It is very lightweight despite the size. I use it when a lot since I am always on the go. I have been playing halo collection and bioshock, it is a lot of fun. Some cons would be that windows 11 can be a bit annoying to use on this device. The battery life is also very short, about one hour with AAA games. Takes a bit of time messing with the settings to optimize it to your liking

After installing many games and launchers, overall its a fantastic gamign experience, the bluetooth connecting for controller is a bit iffy, sometimes it doesn't use it properly, all games have to be launched at least once before playing offline and a menu setting has to be turned on in order to allow offline game play, stema runs great no extra work, epic is also iffy, it'll run cyberpunk fairly well if the device is on charge, but fallout and many smaller games work perfectly

Fantastic portable PC gaming handheld. It's gorgeous, has a beautiful display and it's like having a gaming laptop and switch in one device.

Such a great intro handheld gaming device. Works with all the streaming services. Battery life is pretty good - can game on it for a couple of hours without it being plugged in. Never have issues with games lagging.

Love the device it works as expected it also can work with most steam games, but be prepared to change some settings the sensitivity is high on start and it’s hard to adjust

It's a good handheld that does what you need, but does have many limitations and hurdles for a base model. Really I think the best price would have been $300 but glad to spend $350 rather than spend over $900 for a handheld that I'm barely going to have away from a charger

The Asus rog ally is a very good console! With this console you can play Play station 3 games; and a lot more of the older consoles games! The first step you should take is upgrade the asus rog ally software and firmware! In the beginning, it takes sometime to get use to the buttons; but, once you learn to use the back button everything is simple! If you like video games, i think this console is worth the money! I am very satisfied with the Asus rog ally!

Got it at a huge discount, and most people focus on what it lacks and can't do, I was skeptical at first but I was blown away at how useful it is. It can play modern games easily and what it excels on is the performance for the lighter games. The battery isn't good when you're constantly using the 25W mode but I don't find myself using that mode at all unless I am near an outlet. Overall a great product.

Excellent product to use ,I use this device daily when I have free time very enjoyable and I never get bored

I cant believe I can play my favorite games on the go. battery life not the greatest but not why you buy this. My experience with it has been fun

Awesome device and such a bang for your buck. Powerful and portable. Less powerful than the Z1 extreme version, but with open box pricing, totally worth it.

Amazing. Runs windows 11 so think laptop with controllers on the sides. A smartphone, big ol tablet, headphones and an Xbox controller would make this the ultimate portable gaming system, add or subtract one for the best configuration in your situation. If this is your goal like mine, I highly recommend the extreme version, this review is for that version only. Ps5, Xbox, steam? Yes all of them. Don't like the controllers? Keyboard and mouse. Optimal if you can keep it plugged in, battery life is the only negative but it's subjective...again think laptop. I can't speak to expanded storage.

Really good handheld besides the sd slot overheating problem other than that performance is insane can get almost 100fps in low settings on mw3

The device build itself is high quality, the display is great and the speakers are definitely sufficient. I've bought the regular Z1 version, but I only use the device to play a 20 year old MMO. Generally speaking I'd say the Z1 version is underpowered so make sure you check your expectations going in. I was excited to see they included a stand in the box, but it was just a piece of cardboard. I'd rather they just not included anything at all. Also be aware these apparently destroy micro SD cards pretty regularly.

I play is just as much as my switch as a cozy gamer it’s great to be able to take my PC only games on the go I event decked it out to be a total “me” feel

Unfortunately, less than a month from purchase, I had to send it in for RMA of bad SD card reader. Sucks i had to paid $25 for shipping. Battery life isnt has good as Steamdeck and Win 11 is finicky as always. Definitely buy the latest ROG ally. Fun to play games that aren't compatible with the deck.

I got it at a good price. It's a very good device if you don't worry about playing triple A games at 4k 165hz on the go.

The ally does what I need it to great screen and controls. Battery could last a bit longer.
