This thing has been great for travelling. I immediately replaced the memory in it since that was the primary issue with it and have had no issues. Get's good internet speed, upgrading the memory is extremely easy. It isn't great for high intensity games, but definitely gets the job done and can manage.

The z1 extreme is a amazing product. The joysticks are nice and firm. The battery life leaves a bit to be desired but overall, it can handle any games you throw at it. The storage capacity is kind of weak at 512 gb but you can upgrade it. This is a great product to take with you on the go.

Suprizing performance in comparison to my budget hp laptop. Nothing to complain about. Its basically a laptop in the palm of your hands. It running windows 11 is a plus.

I love the ROG this is the best portable gaming machine.

It's like a mini computer that can go anywhere. It has quality buttons and controls. The only downfall of it would be that the battery life isn't the greatest and that when playing games for extended periods of time it needs to be plugged into a charger

I was deciding between this and the G Cloud, to use for remote gaming from my Xbox. At the time, this was only $100 which was worth it for me. It can run older Xbox games from game pass perfectly when i have bad internet and is excellent for remote gaming when i have strong.

I ordered this for my wife so she could game more comfortably. She has not touched any other system in almost a year because she loves it so much. Highly recommend.

As far as gaming handhelds go this thing is amazing. Battery life while gaming could be a little better but I wasn’t expecting it to be amazing. Graphics for the price are great. Again didn’t expect to get 3070 quality out of a handheld. Fans are quiet and upgrading the ssd was a breeze. 10/10 would buy again. Love this thing.

I was enjoying it for the first month of having it, played mostly docked and on TV. Then one night when I just wanted to play in bed , I noticed the right analog stick was grinding. Only 1 month in. What do I do? Go to Best Buy for service. According to my Geek Squad technician, it’s a known defect due to poor manufacturing standards. As this was 2 weeks out of return, I was given 2 choices: Pay $180 for the Best Buy Total, which extends the he return window, or ship it out to be repaired. So either pay an additional almost half of what I spent originally, just to artificially extend my window return window on a less than 1 month old product OR send out the unit with known defects to be repaired. Well…here I wait for my repair.

Best decision i ever made was to buy my asus rog ally. Its a very powerful handheld capable of running the best AAA Games. The design is impeccable, from the textures to the lighting effect on the joysticks. You can tell alot of love and development took place in creating a handheld gaming pc

Amazong product. Had to factory reset when we recieved it. But after that works like a charm. My wife loves it more than me now. Just kidding but great gaming system

There is some software issues that can make it trouble some when running steam. But overall this is a good hand held device and is definitely leading in its field. It’s definitely worth a buy when it’s on sale but I would not pay full msrp for it. I do like how you can put more memory in it via micro sd and how you can adjust the lights on the anaglogs. You can adjust the color as well. This was purchased for my wife not me. She loves it.

I am an Andriod user and unlike the limitations on iPhone I was able to use emulators on my phone. The ROG with windows 11 is like a dream come true. Works great with emulators and steam, xbox apps! The battery however leaves a lot to be desired however is very manageable at certain settings.

Works well out the box. Windows works good on this device. Get rid of the extra stuff you don't need. Highly suggest upgrading the drive.

Great hand held computer. A must buy. It plays all my games and I can watch all my movies. You can play steam epic watch hulu. You can take it on that go with you. I recommend this.

I like my new pc handheld I play on steam for 90 hours and no battery issues at all it run smoothly like butter so much to do on it it worth it for sure

Awesome, easy to use, great gaming platform for games on the go our lounging on the couch. Runs all games I’ve tried so far with some of the AAA games running the battery kind of quicker then I’d like but for smaller or less powerful games last long enough before a charge for like 30-45 minutes a session

It plays Helldivers 2 no problem, Diablo I no problem, Cyberpunk 2077 no problem, Dragon's Dogma 2 no problem. Surprisingly it plays well off the power cord, it's great when plugged in and get more FPS out the games. Totally had great sessions on the planes, hotels on wifi. Microsoft is a little clunky on gaming handhelds, future updates should address it over time. In the meantime, Steam big picture mode and ROGs Armory Crate are sufficient launchers to cover up the big hole with Windows right now. That being said, there some to being to dock your Ally and turn it into a full on Windows desktop, can't do that some other handhelds currently on the market. GEFORCE Now and Xbox Game pass both stream games, as it should anywhere, perfectly. Exceeded my expectations as I originally got it to play the streaming services, but totally wowed by the fact I can play any PC games I want and install it on the handheld.

Great machine at sale price. Plays most things I've thrown at it with expected settings. It's not a $2000 desktop, if you plan to be mobile with the handheld it's a great option. The open box excellent I received did not have the little stand so that was a bummer but you can 3d print one online.
