a good option and still an excellent price despite the criticism for being the base model Z1 and not the Z1 extreme it feels powerful and runs all the games in decent graphics I am demanding with graphics but without a doubt I loved this little beast since I have in my hands not only a gaming console but a computer with all the Windows tools in my hand, my best purchase without a doubt

Great device and plays most AAA games! Only con is battery life but it’s still pretty amazing.

The ASUS ROG Phone 7 is a beast for gaming! It has a super smooth 144Hz display that makes games look incredibly fluid. The Snapdragon 888+ and 16GB RAM combo handles even the most demanding games with ease. The AirTriggers are a game-changer, providing a console-like experience. The battery life is impressive too, and with 65W fast charging, you're never out of the game for long. The only downside might be that it's a bit heavy, but overall, it's a dream device for any mobile gamer!

After having it for a day, getting all the updates done getting all the settings in order to play games I started out with helldivers2 I must say the asus rog ally is pretty impressive i’m not going to nitpick the battery. It is a handheld console. It’s to be expected overall performance of this handheld is phenomenal. Best bang for your buck if you want something to travle with so you can play your pc games

Was able to purchase this at the $399 price point. Absolutely beyond worth it. It can handle most games in general, whether they be PC or emulated. I bought some Spigen gear to keep in protected on the raid as while sturdy, I feel like a good drop would destroy it. With an accessory or two this could be your daily desktop as well. That little AMD chip in there packs a nice punch. Do not expect AAA games at 4k! Do expect a bunch of fun!

This is a great device with lots of power. I mostly play FIFA and the Z1 version works perfectly for me. I bought the Logitech G Cloud a few months ago and used it to Play Fifa via Xbox cloud gaming but always needed a strong internet connection. Now that I have the ROG Ally, I haven’t used it much. Not only I can also play FIFA via Xbox cloud but I can also play FIFA natively on it which is a major plus.

Not bad but I would recommend buying the Z1 extreme version since the gains are too significant for the price increase. This is good for light gaming but extreme makes it more proper for medium intensity gaming due to better CPU and GPU. Battery life is not great for any handheld with this much power and Frankly when connected to wall CPU/GPU works better so even though it's mobile but better to be connected to a charger really or small 1-2 hours trip without any charger is ok as well but highly recommend go for extreme and keep connected to a power source and even then its the best of all handheld overall!

Rog Ally is a gym straight out of the package The controllers for it hook up just fine Xbox One I use a steel series and it works great I also use a mouse on it I bought a dock and it connects up directly with the charging connector on the back side I also was able to find accessories online for a very good price and put a skin over the white one that I bought Windows 11 really loads up fast it's also got a feature where you can use your fingerprint for identification on the top it's the 512 gig I added a 512 gig microdisc SD card to it and that hooked up just fine I don't feel any lag at all and it also lets you dedicate the computer to gaming and hook straight up to the TV no problem. I was able to find several games on steam some of the newest ones and add them to my account after I downloaded the steam app and it starts right up epic works great origin works great Christmas time's going to have some sales so it's well worth it.

Similar to a steam deck but eith the capability of doing more. I ised mine docked more often than not which is interesting, however, I don’t find myself using this more than a Nintendo switch or xbox series X. Part of me still feels lile i over paid for this product but im still impressed by the small size of something this powerful.

I purchased this item on my birthday because I’ve been wanting a handheld gaming device other than my switch. Ive been playing starfield on this in bed and it’s been AMAZING. love that I can play all my steam games on this as well. Highly satisfied with my purchase of my ROG ally!

Z1 model (no extreme) is enough for games like FC 25, F1, 25, among others with no exigent characteristics. If you want to use it as a personal computer it also works perfectly. Negative points are; very short life of battery, if you have short hands you will have problems using for long time and.. display could be better, specially thinking that there are other similar models with Oled screen. I recommend it for beginners in gamer computers.

Great product plays every pc game up to date. Great handheld

If you're into indie games and older titles, this works just fine. For triple-A games then you might need to lower the graphics as well as expectations, but so far I'm happy with it.

Such a fun device! For the price this is going right now it is a no brainer purchase for any gamer. If you have no budget id suggest springing for the newer ROG Ally X but if you dont have all the money in the world this is a great choice. You wont feel left out because it performs the same as the new model just has a shorter batterh life. Ither than that the changes are very small and this Z1 Extreme will play all the same games and programs.

I love this hand held gaming pc. I actually sold this device to upgrade to the Ally X and I could not have been happier with this product for the whole time owned and now moving on that same feeling and that excellent excitement to my Ally X. I whole heartedly recommend the Asus ROG ally to anyone who likes technology! Cutting edge, news breaking, monopoly making tech candy! 10/10

I was skeptical, watching so many say that the battery life is horrible but after owning this? My steamdeck is collecting dust. I love it so much. I recommend this console to any pc gamer who just wants to rot in bed without sitting at the desk. It’s amazing.

I purchased the base model for $399. I was blown away with how beautiful a piece of machinery it was. The biggest drawback is that the games do play at a much lower graphic level, which for 200 more dollars. I’m not sure if that’s worth it to me to get a better graphics card. My biggest compliment for the system is that it runs like a computer. It feels like a really good windows 11 PC. I have it ported to my docking station and use it as such with only light gaming and minimal handheld use. I can’t speak for how good the battery life is as a handheld, but when I do leave the PC unplugged for days on end I come back and it’s at 99% battery. Standby time is amazing!

My husband and I are both gamers but im fresh and he's 20+ years in. He can play majority of his games on this and brings it everywhere with him. No more excuses when we visit my family. It's literally a handheld computer!

This is. What? I call a handheld gaming rig where you can take anywhere on the road to a friend's house to work. Or in your car. I never have to wait to get home to get your game on.
