Beats Steam Deck!

I wouldn’t recommend to buy new for $500+ but a used/open box one in the $300-$400 range is a sweet spot.

Between steam and xbox game pass i have almost my entire library on the go! I got an open box Ally and the sd card didnt work which was a bummer, but the ssd is super simple to swap out for a 1, 2, or 4 tb drive so I'll take the savings over the sd card reader anyway. Tip, dont run in 30w turbo mode, create your own 20-25w profile and adjust the fan curves to keep the device cooler and your sd card slot should be fine.

Such a huge disappointment...

It worked this morning while I was using it. Then I closed my game and left it to charge for a bit and when I came back all of my games except the ones on the internal hard drive were gone. I have a Samsung pro SD card that I bought the same day as the Ally. And apparently people online have been having this issue frequently as well but Asus seems to not acknowledge it. Also Windows 11 on anything is the worst. It boots up so many applications on startup and if you uninstall ones you don't need, they'll come back when windows updates. And lucky me, the window to return garbage passed 5 days before it did this... This was so very not worth my money and I don't think you should bother with it either.
