Solid improvement over the original Rog Ally. This model added more RAM and improved the battery life. While Windows is still an issue, if that isn't something that bothers you then this is a solid option for a portable gaming PC. It also allows you to play games from any storefront which not all other handhelds can provide.

I bought it used but had no problems with it at all, one of the best choices I've made, it's still very worthwhile to get the Rog Ally X.

Great handheld device!!!!! I like the fact that I can use it not only as a gaming PC but also as a computer for simple everyday task. Some games are not that easy to play on there but still worth the buy.

Best Handheld on the market, definitely recommend a grip skin but gaming has been great all around no matter what game. These devices are heavy however.

Great performance and 24gb RAM means you can safely allocate 8gb to VRAM which is huge for modern AAA games running consistently smooth without awful 1% lows. IPS screen has really good motion clarity at 120hz. I ended up returning it after a few days because it's just not comfortable at all to play while seated. I tried changing posture and arm position but the thing is too heavy and not comfortable in the hands. It's a shame the screen isn't bigger as well. 7" at 16:9 feels small, the Steam Decks 7.4" at 16:10 feels like the bare minimum. I don't know why ASUS chose to go smaller.

I love this! I upgraded from the normal ROG ally and the extra RAM for the IGPU is a huge help. I mainly upgraded due to the serviceability of this one, but obviously the bigger battery and new cooling it is way more quite even on turbo mode.

I'm not someone who plays video games regularly since I don't know much about them, but this console is perfect. It's super easy to use (like a computer system), and its performance is excellent. I've played games like Halo, Call of Duty, Palworld, FIFA, and many others, and none have had the slightest issue (any minor details have been more about developer compatibility, not due to ASUS). I 100% recommend it, honestly.

I love this product, recommend 100%. The battery life will depend on the individual usage but for me it last a good 2-3 hours max when playing triple AAA games, but if you keep it plug into the charger it should be fine. Great portable for travelling etc

Get it, install a 2TB SSD, partition it, install bazzite and be happy. I got steamdeck, lenovo legion go, rog ally and now ally x. The battery is much better than the last model and on par with the steam deck, I do recommend using bazzite to improve battery life and try the sweet sleep/resume that comes with steam os.

I wish the screen was slightly larger especially considering the competition and the price point. Over all it runs my games smoothly. Ever since they announced the Xbox Ally X, they've been pushing updates to Armory Crate that, to me, have ruined the experience. The control center is a laggy mess now.

Great road trip companion! Windows is changeable but I kept it. Screen is the legitimate only drawback but I paired it with Viture Luma's so no biggie.

The device runs great, and as long as you limit your expectations on performance, theres no downside to owning it. Battery life isnt great when playing graphics intensive games. Something like Call of duty you can expect about 1.5 hours if you have the device in silent mode. Turbo mode you can expect about 30-45 minutes. Im returning mine only because its really hard to go from a high-end 1440p 140hz build that could run almost anything on ultra, to a 10 inch screen that struggles to run 1080p at 30fps. I can really recommend this to anyone thats playing on a low-end ddr4 build, but if you ever owned anything with a 2080 super or better, youll end up disappointed in the graphical capabilities of this thing. For what its worth, i do not think that there is a better handheld on the market and this would fit 95% of people looking for a handheld.

So far its been able to run everything i want to play. Just make sure to update your drivers when you get it. Id prefer this over a console now because i can still plug it to the tv and get games from every console as well except most nintendo games. Im loving it
