The device plays most games well for a handheld. I enjoy having all games available on windows. I came from a Steam deck and wanted to play games that required anti cheat. The screen is small for touchscreen use. Microsoft still needs to look into a OS made for handhelds or manufacturers need to make Lenovo size screens.

Great product had a asus rally extreme major improvement from the first generation battery last much longer and has great storage capacity very satisfied with the product.

Very fun, the buttons work well, the screen quality is great and it doesn't heat up too much.

I own a 3070ti laptop. I havent used it in 2 years. I got the lcd steamdeck... Sold it quickly! I got the ally... In love. Then i got the legion go... Piece of crap with windows. Installed bazzite... In love. Got the X a week ago and the others are going to gather dust. Bought it open boxed and couldn't be more pleased with it. It plays hallo infinite and looks great. Ratchet and clank plays well too. Which are two games I've had issues with on my other handhelds.

Makes traveling really convenient. Awesome device and powerful for its size.

I recently purchased the ASUS ROG Ally X, and I can confidently say it’s one of the most impressive handheld gaming devices I’ve ever used. ASUS has truly raised the bar for portable gaming. The ROG Ally X is a powerhouse. With its AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor, it handles AAA games effortlessly. I was amazed at how smoothly games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Elden Ring ran on high settings, even in handheld mode. The performance is on par with some gaming laptops, which is truly remarkable for such a compact device.

Amazing device that is portable. And able to play a lot of pc games on the go.

Love all the upgrades. Like the 80wh battery faster 7500MT ram, thumbstick, bumbers, collers, nvme 2280(no more 2230) with all internals eventally going to be sold separately for self repair. Hightly recommend

Solid machine, no doubt, it performs well and the 120Hz display is nice. But the recent price bump really hurts its value, especially when SteamOS devices running the same Z1 Extreme chip are smoother and more optimized without the Windows overhead. If this dropped $100–150 and supported something like the upcoming Xbox OS, it’d be an easy recommendation. As it stands, it’s good, but not quite competitive right now.

If you want a traditional laptop but also want the ease of gaming like a switch this is the product. All my steam games are playable along with my Xbox games super ease to us last a long while. And everything is just so smooth.

Excellent handheld device. great to play on the go and the battery life is improved. not worth it thought if you already own the rog ally but if you are looking at a windows handheld this is the one to get

The one thing keeping me on the steam deck was it’s great battery life. The ROG Ally X eliminate it’s only downfall (battery) and improves upon everything else. The steam deck has finally been dethroned

This handheld PC is amazing. It offers desktop like performance. Not only can I do Excel spreadsheets on here. I can hook up a monitor and game and run amazing emulators on it. It’s like a switch and the PC had a baby. Great time with this piece of technology.

While this has a learning curve it's been a ton of fun. Being able to play GBA and BG3 on a single machine has been great. I use it for other stuff too so I don't mind it having windows when I order Grubhub or tab out to look up something on Gamefaqs. If you are willing to deal with windows and like tinkering, this is for you.

Amazing product! Battery life is incredible for something so light. Plays AAA games at decent framerate with some settings tweaks.

I love this device! I owned a steam deck and loved it, but started to run out of power so I looked into this. I installed steam os and this thing is magical. Runs so smooth and the joysticks can change colors. ROG Ally x for the win! I am a new father and this is perfect for when I have free time.
