This device has been awesome! So many things you can do. I went from a Xbox to a switch to now my Rog Ally X and I absolutely love it and recommend it! I’m still learning new things about it and I have yet to be disappointed.

The ROG Ally X has pros and cons, like any product. Its nice to have on the go, but its battery life is just a max of 3 hours when running something like Overwatch or COD BO6. It can't run many games, and the key mapping can be weird or incompatible on some games. OS of windows is just a bit weird with such a small (touch) screen. Modding does work like a normal PC, and just about anything you can do with a desktop.

The Ally X has exceeded all expectations! It handles everything I’ve thrown at it , including demanding titles like Cyberpunk 2077. (I upgraded the SSD to 2TB and dual-boot between SteamOS and Windows). I also don't miss out on having a console by hooking it up to a docking station and playing from TV with controller.

Worth the money, incredible graphics and speed! Runs Forza at max graphics without issue

Amazing performance, plays elden ring and most modern games. It is basically just a Windows laptop with a console built around it, definitely recommend using a mouse and keyboard plugged into it for device setup

Battery life and joysticks everything has definitely been improved but the ergonomics still hurt hands after while

The software is a little slow and not as fast as the Nintendo Switch to get right into gaming, but the performance is excellent. 1080p is perfect for handheld gaming and this powerful machine is not for me for I had to return it. It plays all my PC games great except my lifestyle leaves me little time to use it. When it drops down to $400 I will buy it again.

Definitely one of the best if not the best handheld.  set up was a breeze and installing updates was a piece of cake.  I purchased the one terabyte version. This version of the ROG Ally also placed the microSD slot in a different location so it doesn’t burn out microSD cards. It also has better cooling.

As a passionate gamer, I can confidently say that the ROG Ally X is the greatest thing to happen to gaming since laptops. This device has completely transformed how I play, and I couldn't be happier with it. What stands out the most is how it handles AAA titles. Thanks to AMD's Fluid Motion Frame technology, I’m able to enjoy smooth, consistent 30 frames per second, even with the most demanding games. It's incredible to experience console-quality gaming in such a portable device. Titles that I’d never dreamed of playing on the go now run beautifully, and the visuals are stunning! But what really sets the ROG Ally X apart is the bigger battery. It’s been a game-changer for me, especially when I’m playing less demanding games. I can easily tackle these titles for hours on end without worrying about running out of juice. It’s perfect for long commutes, flights, or just lounging around without constantly reaching for the charger. Overall, the ROG Ally X has completely exceeded my expectations. It’s powerful, portable, and packed with features that make it an absolute joy to use. If you're a gamer looking for a handheld that can do it all, this is the one. ASUS nailed it!

I am honestly really happy with the Rog Ally X. Purchased the z1-extreme version first which i also loved but upgraded to the x. I have not had any issues, its a very solid handheld gaming pc. I really recommend it if you are familiar with using computers.

I love this thing. I bought and returned the original Ally last year because the battery life was terrible when running Turbo 25 watt mode and when running 15 watt mode, the Steam Deck matched or beat it. This model however doubles the battery, improves ergonomics, has a 2280 SSD, and the buttons and thumbsticks are improved. I love this thing. I have a Steam Deck OLED and end up reaching for my Ally X more often.

You looking for a PC with no limit to traveling or just want to relax in bed and play, then the Rog Ally X is your device. Bought 2 of these in a spand of a few days and can’t complain. “A win for gaming on the go.”

At first i was gunna return it not gunna lie i been wanting a msi claw but ended up on this and the learning curb was real see i was use to steamdeck n having touch pad for mouse windows is still misrable but it can play everything

I Love this thing! Was hesitant to pull the trigger after the original Ally sd card heating issues. But a friend bought one and after letting me use/test it, I had to have it. Got it during Black Friday sale so used the saved $$ to buy a 2TB ssd. Now I can play during my lunch break. Well worth the $$. Highly recommended.

I bought the ROG Ally X to replace my desktop PC to play and this exceed my expectations. The games play smooth and when need to use windows, connect the ROG to a monitor, mouse and keyboard.

Solid Windows Handheld. Performance will vary between games but I can consistently achieve 60-120 fps for all games that I play. This includes Cyberpunk 2077, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, Resident Evil remakes, Helldivers and much more.

What a blast playing this! Easy to hold and navigate. Would highly recommend!!!!
