I bought this to replace my steam deck so I could play games I couldn’t play on the steam deck. It does everything my surface pro can do and more. Feels good in my hands and even though it doesn’t have the OLED screen I really can’t see the difference between the two screens other than the steam deck has a taller screen.

I have a full set-up (Console, 120hz TV and also gaming laptop) but still love this device. Lots of fun. AAA games work without any mods very well - COD MWF3, BO6, Forza, Steam Games... Very configurable and fun to use. LOVE IT. get it, you won't regret it.

Awesome for portable gaming. Only con is that it comes loaded with bulky windows software and apps

better than the steam deck thats for sure! you can split your hdd to keep windows, then add bazzite until official steam os drops in april

I really enjoyed playing the ROG Ally X. I had to factory reset it multiple times (due to my mistakes when setting it up) but it was really hassle free even if I did it multiple times! I managed to play here my games on X Box and some of my PC games too!

Nice and plays really well no issues till now. But the only issue it has is of the controls

What a great gaming system. It is easy to play, very straight forward gaming. Compact and easy to take along in the car for a trip. I love it!

Wanted a strong hand held to handle on the go gaming at work or while traveling worked great plenty if storage on it and easy to ypgrade

Excellent product, the ergonomics could be a little better but overall a very good gaming experience.

Works good has windows speech to text so I play with bluetooth headphones with a mic so i don't have to type and it runs games good

The ROG AllyX is a next to perfect gaming pc. I was pleasantly surprised at how good this device actually turned out to be. I'm able to run Cyberpunk 2077 beautifully smooth.

Runs all games with impressive frame rate and graphics. The user interface to find other games quickly is well designed. I am happy with this purchase.

Amazing handheld gaming device/windows like a mini pc at the palm of your hands

This has a steep learning curve because of the myriad of options. There are so many things you can do with this, it's unreal. It's not a Nintendo Switch. It's a handheld computer that is good for gaming. You can Bluetooth accessories, keyboards, controllers, a mouse, headphones, etc and plug into your tv for gaming in an external larger screen. Awesome device. Just be patient while learning how to use it, and you'll love it.

Great handheld, you have to do some finagaling with the screen dettings for some games but overall great.

This was mainly an impulse buy but i have not regretted it, theres been many times where i didnt want to be in my game room to play pc games but with this i can play pc games on the couch and spend time with my fiance as well

Ive played so many more games since i got this (instead of my 1 usual game). The only thing that would kake this better if it was $600. Other than that its been nothing but amazing!
