Handheld King!

The battery is a game changer and the software is the most refined of all the Windows handhelds.

Best gaming handheld!

I love the form factor, ease of use, and gameplay. The rgb lights on the joysticks are a plus. The best battery life on any handheld gaming device currently.

Great overall but not for me

Looking at devices with 8 and even 10 in screens the 7 in on the popular handhelds just isn't my jam. I do think in every other aspect this device is excellent so if you're good with the screen size this is a phenomenal gaming machine in a great form factor. If I could nitpick anything else I do wish it had at least one pad for controlling the mouse, I do think for input that's a superior way to interact with the OS.

The Asus ROG Ally X is excellent

I don't have much time to game on a stationery PC so the Asus Ally allows me to play my PC games. It runs even newer games like the Elder Scrolls:Oblivion on high settings smoothly if you use native resolution with upscaling. I get an average of 78FPS with crisp clear graphics. I cannot recommend this enough. Worth every penny

I had the first rog ally and returned it due to poor battery life and the controls didn’t feel right. With this ally x I don’t have any of those issues. I highly recommend
