    Way better than the original ally as far as battery life and ergonomics. Could be a tad cheaper, which is the only real knock on giving it. I run it with bazzite and it's like a beefed up steam deck.

    The Ally X is a solid improvement over the original. The ergonomics, joysticks, buttons, and overall feel of the device has improved. It is also nice being able to install a full size M.2 drive in it as well. Upgrading storage to 4tb was an extremely easy process. In terms of gaming performance it seems like there is a small improvement over the original. Frame rates are a little bit higher but what’s more noticeable is less frame dips. Overall really enjoying the device and excited for the future of handheld gaming.

    Bought this in 2024 when it came out. Always have had headaches due to constantly optimizing games. Even to low settings still ran really bad. So, I used this to play League instead :>
