I’ve searched and researched for months on handhelds and this was what I chose. It is amazing, fast, easy to use, and very responsive. I can do everything from game, to work on it if I choose! I love this handheld monster!

I couldnt be happier with my new handheld gaming device, the ROG ALLY X is a wonderful machine. It was a bit of a journey with my order but the TOP NOTCH customer services I have recieved from BestBuy Customer Service really made all issues easy to fix! They made sure I came away happy!! I WOULD NOT HESITATE to shop with BestBuy again!!

The ROG Ally X has been a great upgrade from my privious Ally. The extra memory and new form factor really make a difference. I am able to play games much better and smoother for much longer. This is truly a great upgrade. If you’re thinking about buying an Ally, go with the X. You will not regret it!

Went in looking for a Rog Ally and saw the Ally X on display, messed around with it and decided to go with it, no regrets at all, I asked someone that works there to give me one and got it and left. Had to go back the next day for a 4tb SSD as i wanted more storage for my needs but this product is really great

Its a great quality handheld that plays almost every game and very convenient for going online and looking things up like haveing a on the go gaming laptop.

Performance is good, battery life is amazing. It is really comfortable. Easy to use. Love it.

No issues so far. All of the changes are very much appreciated. Dual usb c ports makes a big difference for my usecase. Battery life is now second to none. Also bought an egpu enclosure (did not want to invest in a very expensive proprietary egpu from the original Ally). I went through three if the old Allys (issues with a joystick and the other two had faulty micro sd readers). Very happy with this upgrade.

Best portable console for gaming all steam, Xbox pass and more

This is the PC handheld to have among all the rest. I've had everything from a OneXplayer, GPD Win 3, Win 4, Win Mini, Steam Deck, Ayaneo, and the first ROG Ally. Hands down this new one is the best out of them all with only the GPD Win Mini coming in second. If your in the market for one this is the one to get. And if your lucky to get a open box one for a discounted. Its Win Win Chicken Dinner!!!!!

I sold my original ROG Ally Z1 extreme, to pre-order this one and i am not disappointed, 80whr battery, 24gb of RAM so its a little beast of a machine, Thunderbolt 4(USB4) and a port for 2280 SSD. I do not regret selling and buying this one, its still the same beast with higher capabilities at playing all emulation, im still excited about the mod community that will make parts to run more efficient.

Great improvement over the original Z1 Extreme. The changes in the I/O layout makes a huge difference if you plan to utilize it for more than just gaming. Gaming performance is much smoother with the added and upgraded RAM. 10/10 would purchase again.

So far it’s a great buy, I use it at work to kill time and to complete certain work related tasks. Battery life isn’t bad, graphics are great, ps5 remote play works good and so far it emulates and operates smoothly. It really is a game handheld and a PC

This is an outstanding product. In less than 2 months I’ve clocked hundreds of hours of game play. With minimal bugging its service has been outstanding. I wouldn’t expect anything less from such a compact unit.

I’ve Had It For Two Weeks Now And I Must Say, I Absolutely Love This Device. It’s Worth Every Penny. Could I Be Jumping The Gun; Perhaps, But So Far So Good. Can’t Complain.

By far the best handheld ive played . I owned a steam deck before buying the ally x . And honestly the deck is for more experienced gamers that know how to tweak with its settings etc. The ally is more beginner friendly right out the box . As for the software i say about 50/50. The deck let me play more indies but the ally let me play more AAA games like fortnite that uses windows instead on steams linux. One thing i miss about the deck is the 4 back bumpers while the ally only has two bumpers . My biggest con about the ALLY? It heats up more than the deck. I accidentally left the ally running on my bed faced up so the fans could not breathe. I wasnt gone long maybe 3-4 minutes to use the bathroom ,i cane back and it was hotbto the touch. Mainly just the screen. Other than that i love the ROG ALLY X.
