Much better battery life and memory than original Z1 Ally

This is a great device for anyone wanting to play AAA on the go.

Best battery life handheld. I’ve had both ally x and ally extreme. Some how they feel the same weight even though the battery is much bigger.

Hands down one of the best devices ive ever used. You cant ask for anything better than it to be honest in this market. It can play any game you throw at it with ease as long as you set it up right. Asus hats off too you!

better than the steam deck thats for sure! you can split your hdd to keep windows, then add bazzite until official steam os drops in april

I know there are a lot of youtubers saying it's not worth the upgrade from the original ROG Ally. But for me, the improved ergonomics and battery life are actually worth the upgrade. If you can sell your og ROG Ally and put the money towards upgrading, I recommend it.

This works great with STEAM and is also a PC. I would recommend this!

The Rog ally has been a lot of fun. I don't play video games too much, but I went on a cruise back in February and it was great to use when I didn't have WiFi.

Since i travel quite a bit this was definitely an investment with how much it cost but so worth it, plays all the games i want it, and the best part i can link all ubisoft/GoG / and more and armory crate will detect them all.

I was contemplating getting the Steam Deck Oled or the ROG Ally X for sometime. After getting the ROG Ally X, it took sometime to get used to the clunkiness of windows on a handheld. However, once everything is setup - the gaming experience has been good for most games. Additionally, thanks to windows OS, modding single player games are a breeze. Overall, it serves its intended purpose, but the biggest downside is the price. At this price you can get a small and portable gaming laptop (12''-15'') that will handle any current AAA game. Currently, I only get 20-30 FPS on Expedition 33 with graphics set to medium.

This is my main console now. I have a pc with a 4070 super 12gb and i play more on the rog ally x. The upgrades were exactly what i wanted to see. I couldnt be happier.

Wonderful accessory to the gaming man. Planes, work, or waiting in the car. A perfect system for someone on the go or has spare time.

For me this is the best handheld now due to it can play all the games that u wanted. Lucky i grab it went on salw i dont regret buying this. Plus u can turn it to computer u can also connect it to monitor for bigger screen.

The ROG Ally X is very impressive with the power it supplies in a handheld. Plays triple A games very well at high settings and decent frame rates. I was very impressed with RE4 remake and Deadspace remake, looks great and running all most 60 or over 60 frames per second.
