I was in a long debate about getting the Asus or the Steam. Needless to say im extremely happy i went with the Asus. My one complaints is the screen buttons rarely work. Ill have to press the "go home" or "power/sleep" buttons 6 times over before it actually does what i want. Not a huge issue, just seems like it needs to be calibrated better. The other "issue" is this thing straight dies in 2 hours if not plugged in. Not a problem for me because i only play it hooked up but kind of a disappointment that it cant really be portable

Excellent handheld for Steam and mobile gaming. Speed is top tier compared to my steamdeck and the default storage is enough for a few dozen modern games.

Worth the money for upgraded performance and storage. I went with the ROG because I liked having the 2TB of storage. Hopefully when Steam OS provides support for the ROG in the future it will run cleaner. Windows 11 on a handheld device isnt the best. It’s still functions perfectly for any game I have played on it thus far. Diablo 4, Solasta, Baldur’s Gate 3, Palworld to name a few. Only thing I want to make this a better purchase would be a better OS. Hurry up Valve.

This has been a perfect gift for my husband. He can take it on to go, dock it and turn his big screen tv into a computer or gaming system! He loves how it’s a computer and console in one. The graphics are amazing! Yes the battery doesn’t last hours but he doesn’t care why? Because the graphics and having a computer in one is amazing.

Best purchase i ever made. I work alot and im not always at home. But this come in clutch !!! Takes a bit to get use to it but when you do it smooth. Do you research and you like it get it. If not maybe wait on the new one is coming out soon

Literally the best hand held I have ever used and I have all of them. I’m literally running most games on high for the graphical settings and it’s nice being able to run almost any game I can think of. Know this device isn’t without flaws but if you are willing to do a little tinkering you will get a lot of enjoyment out of this device.

This game system is comfortable to hold and play with. Love the seamless Xbox online experience. Been playing with other game emulations as well, and they all work surprisingly good. I've also linked to a OLED TV via a wireless HDMI device for a more immersive gaming experience and I've been surprising pleased with everything. Very happy with the purchase!

Worth every penny! Wanted this to run FFVII Rebirth, and rather than spend over $2K to buy a gaming desktop just for one game, I settled on this to give me the option to play it whenever and wherever along with other games that I would like to do that with. Rebirth works perfectly 60 hours in on low settings, so no complaints here!

Placed a mobile order and picked up within minutes! I have put over 100 hours into gaming on the ROG Ally X, and has outperformed my high expectations. I’m running AAA titles smooth as butter. I was worried about Windows OS on a handheld, but it is very user friendly. Highly recommend this product

Amazing device. Can play returnal well, and elden ring really well, and feels great to hold. Awesome pic.

Runs games like cyberpunk real smooth, Elden ring like butter as well. The halo chief collection is real fun to play on this on the go, only thing is be careful of touching the screen. It’ll act like a controller and takes about 5 seconds to switch back to handled mode.

Wonderful device for nearly everything you can think of mobile gaming wise! Windows based is debated on these handhelds, either OS you choose to run this thing is insane. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking into mobile versatility with multiple ranges.

I absolutely love the Ally X. Its been a great investment and I highly reccomend it.

Was a bit skeptical on buying the ROG Ally X, but my fears were quickly put to rest by this great device. It runs almost any game, the biggest game I played on there was Destiny 2 and it ran better than my Xbox with better quality. Would definitely recommend.

Never would have imagined a day where I can play games like Call of Duty, Fortnite, or Microsoft Flight Simulator on a devices smaller than a laptop. This thing is quiet, powerful, and can be setup in a variety of configurations. I use it daily from at work to a friends house at a LAN party.

I love this thing. It's awesome. Being able to bring your games on the go has been something I've wanted forever. So far it's been a mostly good experience. There's some odd quirks here and there as well as things that don't work as expected. The additional battery life is greatly appreciated especially on the go.

Absolutely love this device so much i bought one for the whole family. Its creates a very enjoyable family and friends game play.

This is a true portable device wven with no wifi as long as you do not shut the game off and just put it to sleep, You can play for weeks without reconnecting. This is likely to replace my consoles with the dock attachments.
