I absolutely love this thing the only thing I wish is that it had an oled display but it runs all of my games at a a steady fps and it hooks into an external GPU easy

Excellent upgrade to the original Ally - the battery life it much better as is the storage options. The Micro SD card slot works excellent and it an improvement over the original. Performance is amazing for a handheld.

I love it, but a bit of a learning curve as I’m a PS5 and Switch gamer but this system is pretty cool. Pricey (2TB of memory) but love the portability!

It was a bit difficult to set up initially because it wouldn't let me set it in English and forced me to do it in French. Once it was setup I was able to switch it to English. Now that it's all set up I'm having a great time with it it's played everything I've thrown at it so far most graphic intensive was Hogwarts legacy.

Thie rog ally x has been everything i wanted and more. it has more than enough power and battery life is pretty good as well, and it has been able to handle everything i have thrown at it so far. I would highly recommend it.

I like it fun to play on this steam and is good to have something to go on the Internet if you need to look something up.

The part i love is that it's also a full functional windows system that can be upscaled with peripherals to a desktop system as well as being fully portable!

Does what I want, it does have more power than a steam deck, but it's not as versatile. If you don't mind slight tinkering because of windows it's great, actually Windows on this isn't too bad all things considered.

It’s a great hand held and the battery life is the best part. You WILL need to put a larger M.2 drive in it because of all the great games available. I actually put an 8TB drive in mine and still have space. This is a definite buy for the hard core gamer.

Powerful handheld PC. Upgraded to this from the ROG Ally Extreme due to the larger capacity battery. Battery life is so much better. I no longer have to play near an electrical outlet.

This is by far the fastest running hand held pc gaming system and can be converted to a desk top with windows 11 mad space with two tb this is one of the best !!!!!

This thing is a beast and can pretty much run anything you want to throw at it.

Purchased a Rog Ally X 2TB that claimed to be "Geek Squad Certified" and in "Excellent Condition" and had to return it due to it being a "seizure booby trap". The screen would constantly strobe and flicker out before i could even get the thing setup. When I took it back the next day they simply said they woud only refund the amount and refused to see if other stores had replacements or even consider the one showing online as "site to store" as a replacement. I was simply dismissed without any acknowledgement of the fact that they sold a nearly $1,000 device that was clearly broken and should have never been attempted to be passed off as "Excellent Condition" which is the same as "Like New" and sold just shy of brand-new pricing. Incompetence is one thing but that interaction came off as shaddy as hell and they didn't think they would be caught.

Great pickup for handheld gaming. Runs a bit hot after long sessions.

Very powerful little unit and it will play almost all of my games and is more powerful than my steam deck and legion go s.

Extremely reliable handle and great battery life but windows just suck. If you’re not planing to play multiplayer games with anticheat software, I recommend installing the official SteamOs or bazzite for ease of use.

I love it. I had the first one and the power was not there. I can barely put this thing down. I have so many games on here and it’s nice to just sit on the coach and play my favorite racing games to fps

Just a great device. It has so many uses and I've found it's battery is very much enough for anything I need before coming back to a plug.

I travel 9 - 10 months out of the year for work and I like to play FPS games, but I don't want to travel a console. I found this and did some research. It checked off all my boxes, plenty of RAM and SSD space. Perfect to fit in my backpack and always ready to go!

Honestly a perfect machine. With a dock it's unstoppable. As long as you manage your power settings for each game I've gotten four to five hours for most indie titles and at least 3 hours for most AAA games
