Some games do require adjusting the settings. The only downside is that it does take some windows based knowledge to set up some systems. It is not a plug and play device. For me it is not a problem but if you have no computer background it could be a bit much to handle. One last thing is most system games rely on internet connection which is almost impossible on cross country road trips and costly for internet connection on planes and hotels. I have unlimited data but connecting to towers deep in hotels greatly diminishes signal.

Arc Raiders runs at 60 FPS!

It's just a little glitchy at times and I think thats because not all games are configured to work perfectly on a handheld but overall it's an awesome handheld. The 1 less star has nothing to do with best buy's service. The pc itself is juuust not as perfect as I would like it but thats just me. Don't stop yourself from getting one! P.S. the pictures you see are with accessories I bought separately

Great hardware, painfully unstable software

Unfortunately, the software experience is extremely janky for a device at this price point. The controller portion of the device suddenly stopped working one day, which led to many hours of troubleshooting just to get basic functionality back. After finally restoring controller input, the joystick LEDs stopped working entirely and now only light up briefly at startup. The software stack feels fragile and poorly integrated. Multiple ASUS services, firmware tools, and Windows gaming features all fight for control, and when something breaks it’s very difficult to recover cleanly. For the price, this device should ship with far more refined, stable software that works seamlessly together. It should also have an OLED screen — the current display is fine, but not competitive at this cost. I wanted to love this device, but the instability seriously undermines what is otherwise solid hardware.

All the other Z2E devices ship without the AI NPU processor. With the NPU, AI processing doesn't need to be done
