I added a soundbar because like all the new TVs the sound is not the best.

4K and HDR is amazing

Great picture, horrible sound

We love the Roku interface and the picture is really nice. 43" is the perfect size for our armoire. But the sound... the tinny, scratchy, horrible sound. My grandkids have $10 toys with better speakers. I've heard greeting cards with better sound. We didn't need amazing sound (we just watch a little late night TV in here) so I wasn't worried when they said the sound was bad. But this is beyond bad. It's so bad I haven't gotten used to it after a month. We turn it on and still - immediately - my first thought is, OMG that speaker is horrible. It doesn't bother my wife as much, so I guess we're keeping it. But I have to wonder if all TVs at this price level have sound this bad.

It's great for daytime viewing especially if you don't want to interact with your roommates. maybe don't use it to fall asleep to though, it doesn't get very dim. The built in speakers are kinda bad so definitely good idea to get a sounbar.
