Glitchy - Pay a Little More for Better

It sometimes restarts itself and the streaming apps fail on occasion. I'm not positive of this correlation, but my electric bill has been higher than usual every month starting exactly when I got this TV.

It's a good TV if all you want is a tv that works.

It also had a lot of screen lag compared to the LG next to it. I was told not to buy it as Roku is just kind of an average TV if you really can't afford very much. I'd recommend a HiSense over a Roku any day.

Don't buy from Best Buy if delivery is needed!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.50" TV was never delivered and order had to be canceled after three days of rescheduling. This has been an awful experience with Best Buy. Best Buy's website said this TV would be delivered the same day. It wasn't. I called their shipper that night. They said they didn't know what the issue was to call Best Buy. I called Best Buy and they said it would be delivered the next day. It wasn't delivered. I called Best Buy, again and they said I would get a phone call in 30 to 60 minutes from their shipper. They never called so after 3hours I tried to cancel my purchase. It couldn't be canceled because a shipping label had been printed. I had to wait until Monday to cancel and now I have to wait up to 10 days for my refund. I should have had my TV the same day according to their website but now I'm going to end up waiting two weeks through this whole process to get a new TV. There are worse things in life but would strongly recommend buying a large TV somewhere else if you need delivery.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

Only used it a few times turned it on and 2 minutes after turning it on the screen went black. I couldn't believe it ... I called TCL customer service to get help trying to figure out the problem after been on the phone for 45 minutes doing all the steps to figure out the issue. Only to be advised that my warranty is a month out of the warranty field and I need to buy another. I feel that's crap the TV is brand new with the plastic still on the TV. I brought it December 2023 a year and a month later I have a non working TV that I can't even use . I'm too mad about this situation waste of my hard earned money. So no I would not buy another TCL or recommend it to anyone else. I brought a TV that is worthless and can't do anything with this TV is a cheap piece of crap.. Don't waste your money and customer service was of no help..

Nice tv

Also hard to connect vintage technology. The TV we used to have allowed us more versatility in hooking up various media.

Roku Tv is awful
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Remote only works part time, tv lags when clicking the remote, forget watching any fast paced movies… the blur and glitchy screen make it unwatchable. TCL and Roku find the cheapest parts to make a “functioning” television and offer the lowest price, but it truly is the worst tv I have ever owned. Skip TCL and Roku and go for actual reputable brands. I purchased a Sony Bravia TV and it is the best TV I’ve ever had.

I tried to return it on the 17th day and the said the TV works fine. When I told them about it not playing apple tv, they said it's not their problem. I'm done with best buy forever!

Avoid Roku brand TV

Was told I had to go through the Roku company since they have a 1 year warranty. I’m getting the silent treatment from Roku Inc and have filed a BBB complaint. I think Best Buy should’ve handled this since. I would never purchase a protection plan again.

Roku tvs are junk

Had it 3 months and started having issues with picture turns black. Called best buy and they would do nothing . Called roku tech support and got a major run around for 4 months till they replaced it. After getting the new tv and 5 months later, same thing happened. Would not recommend roku tv or there customer service

Trash broken 2 hours after i get it

Didnt last long

Extremely disappointed in Best Buy and Roku. I now have to work with Roku and who knows when I will have a working TV.

Bad quality

Unable to use it now for 2 weeks. It was a good price but not working properly. Don't waste your money on this one.

Never Again

Tried for several days, then just gave the TV away because it was too hard to send it back. As a result of this experience, I bought a washer and dryer from another vender and will try my best to avoid bestbuy in the future
