Nice tv by Roku. I love the Roku platform, as I have been using the streaming stick for years now. The picture is good but the sound tone is a bit tingly. It’s ok for for me because it was purchased for my bedroom and not used for long periods.

Nice TV for the price point. Even better when you can get that GeekSquad "excellent" open box deal. TV came with everything like new. Setup was a breeze. Bright picture, fairly crisp... but not too "HD". Overall I have no complaints. If you're considering a mid size unit and working on a budget... this is a "best buy" in my opinion.

Needed to replace tv fast and decided to give Roku a try after reading other reviews. Our other tvs are LG. I am not disappointed - the platform is easy and intuitive to use and the picture and sound quality have been great. I also appreciate that it has many hdmi ports - something lacking in our last tv. Overall, a great buy.

This five star review is based on an extreme value price. I got this 55 inch hd tv for 199. For this price I am extremely pleased. This is my bedroom tv. Great size, good picture, built in streaming, lots of HDMI ports. Great value and performance for the price I paid.

I love the Roku UI. It's fast and *simple, and the *latter being a hard-to-find element in smart TVs. The picture is solid. Sound is above average. Recommended for the price.

For the price, it’s really not a bad TV. This is the second one, as the first one we got had [a] blown speaker(s) right out of the box. We were able to get a new one, and the Best Buy employee told us that in their experience, nobody else had had this issue. It was probably just a fluke, things happen, it’s alright. When we got everything set up with the new TV, although skeptical at first, it proved its worth rather quickly. It’s got good sound, the picture is very good, and the adjustable settings are nice. First thing I don’t particularly like: the backlight. On dark screens (if a movie has a black frame for a moment, or a black loading screen), the backlight shines through. This isn’t too bad, however, because it’s usually temporary. Second, any white on the TV is too stark. After fiddling with the picture settings for a moment, you can bring it down so it doesn’t look like shot pixels, but it’s still very bright and according to some forums, it may be because of the HDR, which cannot be disabled. This still isn’t too much a problem most of the time, but it does give an overexposed look to a film or show that some would find distracting (we found this out while watching Harry Potter 4). Otherwise, it’s not a bad little gadget and does its job nicely, but if you are one to get distracted by uneven lighting or overexposure I’d definitely use discretion to review other options on the market. When asked if I would recommend this TV, I put no, because there are certain elements to the TV including what I mentioned above, and the (to be honest) somewhat limited/user-unfriendly controls specifically for picture settings. Again, if you just need a TV and aren’t looking for bells and whistles, this is a good TV, especially for the price, but I wouldn’t recommend it to someone with the same needs in a TV like mine were.

First I would mention the I use Roku devices on all my TVs. This was my first time buying a Roku TV but based on the experience with the Roku Ultra and Roku Streaming stick I decided to give it a go. The quality is what I expected as far a picture quality on a 4k tv. After that it’s just as good as my other Roku devices and behaves the same so I’m very happy with it. My app setup on my other devices automatically transferred over so set up was extremely easy.

This is an amazing TV! When compared to my other TV which sadly began to give me problems—I miss it!—I am definitely getting an even better experience! I’m very happy with it!

I love RuKu products and this RuKu TV is great. I like that I only need one remote control to everything. Had I purchased a RuKu TV first than I would not have purchased the RuKu Express (for streaming) It’s all good, everything works great.

This TV is AWESOME . It has so many features that realy I really need . I want to get away from cable and this TV I feel might just make this happen for me . I purchased 2 and I got free subscriptions for 3 months to different apps . I don't think I could ask for . Especially for the price . , GREAT PURCHASE

I would have gotten 65” tv but they don’t ship anything over 50”. But this is a great tv.

This Roku TV lives in my home gym where it excels at being lightweight, portable, and refreshingly affordable. The picture quality is perfectly adequate for watching workout videos or distracting myself during cardio torture sessions. The Roku interface is intuitive and responsive, which matters when you're sweaty and impatient. At this price point, you're not getting premium features, but you're also not getting premium problems. It does exactly what it promises without any unnecessary complications or wallet damage.
