It is much more convenient to have the Roku built in and just use the one device. Also, it works better with the Roku app in comparison to the standalone devices. Was also impressed with the sound quality. Was initially thinking of getting a sounds bar, but don’t feel the need.

All in one remote for simple use. I'm SO happy to finally have a TV that doesn't scream at level one volume, so I can sleep with something in the background that demands I stay awake.
