Worked as expected for about a month or two, then randomly jumps back to home screen while playing a movie or show. Restarting it from settings - power options sometimes fixes it, but not always. Powering off tv and powering back on doesnt help with the issue at all. It occurs about once a day to once every other day, and it does it several times in a row, sometimes making you restart show from beginning. The family's decided to take it down and put upthe older tv that this replaced, which was ~10 year old Sony. Not happy at all. 2 stars because it worked well for a month or so. I'll also mention the power cord on it is too short. We have it mounted about 6 ft up, and it wouldnt reach the plug by the floor. I had to mount a power strip about 3ft off the ground before i had enough cable to plug it in, with sufficient cable. Most tvs today you can replace the power cable with a longer one if needed. This one is connected straight to the tv. I even took off a panel, thinking there's a hidden plug. Nope. Cable was soldered directly on power board in the tv. Terrible design. I could list several reasons why you'd want a modular power cable, safety being one (someone pulls on the cable, you dont want the tv to come crashing down. Its better if the cable just unplugs from the tv). I cringed when i seen that, but i could look past it. I cant look past the jumping back to home screen thing though.

Bought this for my parents after years of them using hand me down tv’s. They don’t care about high end tvs which is why I got this instead of an OLED version. They love it and are happy with everything this tv has to offer. Worth the price for a basic 4k tv.
