The picture quality is very clear. Sound quality is on par with most tvs these days because they’re so thin but overall great experience and good value. No complaints.

It has a good display, I am using it as an additional monitor essentially mirroring other units within the first floor of the house. I haven't been able to get my smart receiver to understand that it is only a display compared to my big TV, but honestly I haven't really sat down to troubleshoot the issue yet. The set up is a little different than my 5 yr old ROku TV and that takes some getting used to, but otherwise no issues to date, but again not my main television in the house. Pricepoint was fantastic for the unit though, and I am a preferred Rolu user for my smart tvs, though only 4 of my 8 units are ROku to date....

I use streaming devices on many non-smart TVs, and even use one on a TCL Smart TV with Google, bypassing Google and using a Roku streaming device. This is for two reasons: (1) I like to reward the early innovative players of a technology and not the copycats, and (2) I believe Roku to have the best interface and offerings. The reason I give this particular 55" Roku TV four rather than five stars is due to subpar audio. Understanding that Roku does not manufacture their own TVs, and considering the price point, I am assuming they use some of the lower end manufacturers. However, my 50" TCL TV speakers produce a fuller and more dynamic sound than this 55" Roku TV. So, I purchased a soundbar system for the Roku TV.

From the 'home screen', it's too difficult to adjust custom/personal picture settings. Everything is preloaded. I had to find a workaround. Other than that everything is great!
