I’ve recently purchased a roku for my college dorm room and am able to keep up with all of my favorite shows such as: Grey’s Anatomy, Riverdale, etc.

I purchased the Premiere model after having installed an Express on another TV. What I like best about the design is how unobtrusive it is. The narrow profile and the adhesive strip make for a neat installation and you don't need a shelf to hold it. I plan on getting one more for the guest room.

Of the 9 rokus devices Bought, the inventory box # 6293217 came the open box and look that the device was used, in addition to the used and old cable, the remote control was without batteries seems to me very unserious of such a respectable company The Roku device was used because it downloads the Netflix application with the associated account daziegler2016, I do not sell used equipment as if that scam were new.

This device has some serious issues. When I initially set it up it did a software update and stopped working. It fails to connect to the wifi after the update. I've bought two and they both are doing the same thing. I'll be returning them.

Roku Premiere 4K streaming media player is an excellent option for adding Roku on existing television with HDMI compatibility. Plug & play set up easy to connect to WIFI. Picture quality crisp & clear. Navigation via remote simple & fast. Only negative to note: I could not program TV to turn on/off via Roku remote, but I think that had more to do with my TV than Roku device (which allows for conversion). If you already own a Roku product, you know, multitude of viewing choices it provides. If you don't currently own a Roku device, at mid-range price point, this product is an excellent option to start!

Bought 3 of these. I have the rook Ultra, but was needing something for my mother and grandma that was easy to use and set up. This fit the bill perfectly. Has a very simple interface with large icons for apps. so easy to read and see from a distance. Controller is easy to use and they like the feel of it in your hand. My husband prefers a controller with buttons vs the Apple TV one where its a small trackpad type. (This is my preference.) Shows are beautiful in 4K. This tiny little unit packs a punch, and doesn't take up hardly ANY space. They all love them.

If you're looking for streaming on a budget, this is the Roku for you. The Roku Premiere 4K is fast and fluid although not as fast as my Roku Streaming Stick+. With an existing Roku account, setting this up for the first time is easy! It does 4K and works with WiFi 802.11n. It is very similar to my Streaming Stick+ but lacks some of its cool features like WiFi 802.11ac and voice control. So.......... If you're looking for a quick Roku fix and 4k compatibility, get the Roku Premiere 4K. But for an extra $20, you get a few more perks with the Streaming Stick+. Both have that Roku quality and are recommended.

This is probably my 6th or 7th roku device, not counting the integrated Roku on one of our TVs. This is my second "Roku Premiere". I bought the first one a little over 2 years ago back when it only offered 4K with no HDR and the unit was shaped much like the current Roku Ultra is now. I bought this Premiere to go with a 55 inch 4K tv that I use in our basement when I work out. I had the original Premiere device up on my 65 inch 4k TV in the living room. After using it for the first time though I have now moved it up into our living room on the bigger TV. Here is why..... When I initially started using it on the 55 inch in the basement I ran some Youtube videos that demonstrated 4k HDR from one of the TCL tv's. I was shocked by the increase in color saturation, brightness and dark levels. Now I have never had any complaints with the image quality of either of my two 4K Tvs but neither is HDR compatible (8-bit + FRC panel) according to the manufacturer. That is what made me so surprised by the performance on both tv sets with this new Roku Premiere. It most definitely added something to the image quality in those key areas. I have attached two demo images to illustrate what I am referring to with the HDR performance level. In every other area I have zero complaints with the Roku platform and with this particular version of it. I will continue to use Roku as my choice for streaming. P.S. I am going to buy another Premiere...the HDR image looks that good. ;-)
