I bought two of these since I really wanted the headphone jack for using in bedrooms. I have been using Roku streaming devices for many years now and really like the Roku platform compared to Apple and Amazon tv streaming options. Set up is a breeze, price is great, quality and performance is superb.

I just started streaming with Roku last week. Loving the performance so far and local channels over YouTube TV work perfect. I had one LG smart TV and was using old Blu-ray players with limited app options on the three dumb ones. The lack of local TV access on the Blu-rays is what was holding me back. I will be turning in my cable boxes next week. YouTube TV is half of what my cable bill is, so I will recoup the Roku investment in less than 6 months. Plus, I'm finding a lot more great channel options than what I had with LG smart and limited old Blu-ray apps. Note: I purchased a $29 Roku Express for my office TV but did not like the simple remote. I exchanged it for the Streaming Stick+ with TV off/on & volume control plus voice command. It was worth the extra money, for me, to eliminate keeping up with two remotes. True, you can use the mobile app as a Roku remote, but for a few dollars more now I don't need to. Roku works great for me!

We cancelled cable and thought we would try a Roku. It was an excellent choice. This was easy to install plus has headphones which work great. The sales person helped a lot in picking this out.we can get more than enough channels that we like. The controls work great for volume and channel selection. Plus we saved a ton of money.

I love my streaming stick. I’ve had the Roku 2, 4 and a Roku TV and I’m never disappointed. The steaming stick currently resides in my projector and it has great 4K picture quality, easy setup and works efficiently. I watch my Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime and Disney+, also all my cable channels. (By downloading the streaming channel app)

Got this for my daughter because it was on sale for price of the one without headphones. It works great. Never any issues. If you don’t need the headphone jack this is still worth it because you can talk into the remote to find shows scattered around around the app itself. Better than the Apple TV in my opinion.

I could use bluetooth headphones or pods, but I find it quick and convenient to use the headphone jack on the remote. I have purchased a few of these Roku sticks this year. They are easy to set up and then use the remote to power on the TV, adjust the volume, etc. We often listen to music videos on YouTube. The voice search on the remote brings up artists/songs that I search for where as I have a Samsung Q80t TV with voice search, but it won't bring up the youtube stuff. It gives me the song in Amazon Prime Music and other instead. So... even though I have smart tvs with voice search, I often switch over to the Roku for headphone listening or better searching within youtube.

Works wonderfully, it’s fast and it has the most popular apps. Also in stunning 4K. Don’t have 4K anything? It auto formats to your tv. The remote/headphone addition is a neat way to privately watch and listen to your movie and shows without anyone else having to listen. Overall a great streaming device for your household.

I got this streaming stick to replace an Xfinity cable box I was renting for $10 per month. Xfinity has a streaming app that lets you watch live TV, on demand and shows you've recorded on your X1 box. It pretty much does everything the cable box does. It's actually in Beta but I haven't had any issues with it. It's slightly less convenient than the Xfinity box because you have to power on the Roku stick and then select the Xfinity Streaming App Beta from the list of options. The Roku remote voice option does not work with the Xfinity app. You can say "Open Xfinity Streaming App Beta" but that's it. In terms of the streaming stick it works great. Crisp picture, no sound delay and I've had no issues since I've installed it. My favorite feature are the headphones that plug into the remote. I use it when I'm on the treadmill. I can easily hear the TV over the treadmill noise. I just put the remote in my pocket. It would be great if they were wireless. The only thing I don't like is the fact that the volume and mute keys are on the side of the remote instead of the top -- and there are no number keys. There is room for at least the volume keys on the front so I'm not sure why they are on the side. Also, the universal remotes they make for Roku don't work with streaming sticks for some reason. All in all it's a great piece of tech that will pay for itself in a few months. I was so impressed with it that I ordered the streaming box version for another TV.

This is our 2nd Roku Streaming Stick+. It's a great product if you want to "cut the cord" in this wireless world. Instead of paying cable or satellite companies a monthly rental fees for a TV box attached to every TV in your home, buy one of these for every TV instead and you can stream everything for a one-time cost. For example, if you're paying Comcast $13/month per month for each TV cable box, and you have 2 TVs in your home, that $312/year in unnecessary rental costs. Instead, buy two Roku's for a total of a one-time investment of $100 -- save money, get reception that's as good or better, and have a much wider choice of viewing options. Buying this device was one of the smartest purchases we've made.

I love the Roku stick. The picture quality is amazing. I put this on my mother's old flat screen and it made the picture a thousand times better. Its very easy to use and I like how you can control everything from the remote including the volume and using the headphones.

This unit/device is awesome! It essentially installs itself, it’s user friendly and it does what it says it’ll do. Although the buttons are few and easy to memorize, the remote does not light up; so I love the phone “app” which replicates the remote AND helps you see in the dark (I.e. TV in a darker media center, or bedroom). Also, for a couple extra bucks, I like the ability to hook headphones to it for quiet listening, while your partner may be asleep. Get one, or even two (like I did), you won’t regret it. It’ll turn your non smart/internet TV into a modern and easy to use AND USEFUL app friendly, streaming television!

This is an awesome system. I like the whole platform, except for the headphones component, but I like how it can allow me to sync my headphones through bluetooth through the phone app along with the 4K tv. (battery dies more quickly if you plug a headset into the roku stick and I don't recommend since the quality isn't as good as me using my bluetooth beats headset synced to the tv or to my phone to listen in on Roku platform. But it's a purchase that i'm overall satisfied with.

I recently switched to using this Roku device from my Amazon Fire stick and Nvida Shield for all my streaming needs. This device flawlessly runs all my streaming apps. My Nvida Shield doesn't like Amazon Prime video and my Amazon Fire stick had issues with sound on just about every app I tried to use except for Netflix and Prime Video. This Roku device was easy to setup and streams content from all of the different streaming service I use with zero issues. The only thing I don't like about this device is the remote control. The remote is extremely bulky but aside from that I couldn't be happier with the performance of this device. I highly recommend this device to anyone looking for great value combined with great performance. I will be purchasing more of these devices to replace the remaining Amazon Fire sticks I have.

I’m new to the ROKU world. I’ve seen dozens of presentations on shopping TV, but really didn’t understand it. I recently had to buy a ROKU stick for a small TV I bought for the kitchen which didn’t have a cable wall outlet. My cable guy told me ROKU was the only way to get reception. I proudly installed my ROKU stick all by myself (+ help from a Youtube video) and it’s working beautifully. I’ve yet to utilize the many facets of this device, but with COVID-19 I’m spending all my time at home so I’ll be exploring soon! Glad I bought this higher end model with 4K, headphones, etc.!!

I have been using this stick for about 1 1/2 months so far and it has worked great. It does get hot to the touch, which was a concern initially, but this hasn't caused any issues or hampered the performance in any way that I have noticed. I don't really use the headphone option, but I tested it out and that worked great also. My only complaint, which goes for virtually all of these streaming devices (not just Roku), is the permanent app buttons (Netflix, Hulu, etc.) that can't be reprogrammed. I'm sure Roku gets paid by these services for having their buttons on there, but the best thing for customers would be allowing a person to reprogram these buttons if desired.

I bought this primarily to replace my firetv stick because it always felt like it was slow. I use it to watch AT&T TV as well as Netflix and various channels' on demand apps etc. The Roku definitely feels like an upgrade in terms of responsiveness and the fact that it's 4k is great because it was one of two parts of my projector system that were limiting me to 1080p. The interface is reasonably intuitive as well, so I'm happy with the purchase. If I had to pick a nit it would just be that I wish the hard-coded buttons that go straight to one service or another were programmable/over rideable, but I get that they make money on doing that and usually one or two of them are at least for services I do actually use.

This is a fabulous addition to my television. The Roku contains a massive amount of entertainment and works very fast. I love the ability of the remote that comes with it and the headphones keep my listening private so my wife can sleep undisturbed.

Overall it works great. I've had a few issues with the volume button suddenly stop working but pulling a battery out really quick fixes it. I love the headphones for the remote, it's been super handy to have. Wish they still made this but I don't believe they do.

Roku is great. Easy to use. Love that you can use the earbuds for late night watching without disturbing your partner. Love how you can sync remote yo control TV volume/mute options.

Love how simple and easy it is to use, fast and simple to setup. Love the included headphones when wanting to listen to in a quiet environment. Connects to the WiFi and have had no complaints
