We were having problems with our main TV in the living room (an older model) losing wi-fi signal. We thought it must be the age of the TV or something. A Best Buy associate suggested we try this Roku Ultra. After suffering with the problem daily, it has been about 3 weeks since we installed this Roku, and not a glitch since! Highly recommend!

I have used Roku devices for over a decade and enjoy their ease of use and price point. These have been primarily their stream sticks. I recently upgraded my television to a big screen 4k with a popular brand. So, I bought this new Roku Ultra to enhance my viewing experience. However, after a couple of days, the player began to stall and freeze after streaming for 5 or 6 minutes. After troubleshooting with Roku support it was clear I had a bad unit. No big deal these things happen from time to time. I returned the unit to Best Buy and the return was painless. I now have a second unit in place and all is well! The player's new peppy UI is obvious over a stream stick's and the Dolby Vision and Atmos is superb! I love it and Best Buy made my purchase and return smooth and I cannot praise them enough! Do yourself a favor and pickup the new 2024 Ultra!

I have used the HDMI Roku devices for many years, and they are marvelous. But I just purchased the Roku Ultra for my 4K LG OLED TV. The first thing it did during the install was to raise the TV's levels to maximize my picture quality to match the capabilities of the Ultra. The latest research also recommends using devices like the Roku for streaming, because it will hold the WIFI signal and give the most reliable picture and sound quality possible without tiling, buffering or crashing. I highly recommend this top of the line Roku, it's well worth the extra cost.

I purchased what I thought was the 2024 version of this Ultra a year ago and found out it was only the 2022 version. The 2022 version had a micro usb for charging and the 2024 a c type charging connection. Also the 2024 is twice the processor speed. It is much better Than the 2024. make sure you get the 2024 version which is the 4850x version. Also the older version which looks the same ran hotter on 4k content. The 4850x seems to have corrected that problem with the better processor.

We were blown away by the ease of connecting all our apps to the Roku It does so many things for us such as turning TV off and on or putting close captioning off or on I’ve never seen anything connect so quickly It out gunned anything we’ve used before

The Roku Ultra is one of the best streaming devices in the market. The interface is easy and effortless and intuitive. The channel lineups seem to follow logical sequence. I love the speed through which you can find what you are looking for. The newest update was a great improvement and well designed. The only from I have with the box is that my LG OLED remote control does function with the box. Therefore I have to switch between remotes. However I do recommend Roku as great alternative to Apple TV and others.The Roku Ultra is one of the best streaming devices out there. The interface is super easy to use and intuitive. The Roku Ultra is easy to use packed with pictures the Dolby vision and Dolby Atmos are really good on that. I would recommend this unit over anything in fact it’s just almost as good as my Apple TV is.

It’s a perfect device for streaming easy to use and easy to hook up

Really wanted to love this. And it is great on a few counts. I namely got it to supplement my Apple TV 4K for the audio pass through feature. This works flawlessly. The backlit rechargeable remote is also fantastic and I find it more ergonomic than the aluminum ATV remote. But even though both are WiFi 6 compatible, and we have an excellent Asus WiFi 6 mesh network, its WiFi stability is nowhere near as solid as the Apple which has never disconnected once. The Roku disconnected a total of 5 times in the 8 days before I gave up and returned it. I know Ethernet is the ideal way to connect this but it’s not possible in our home, so if you want great WiFi, unless you’re super close to your router, this may or may not cut it. It sadly did not in our home.

Worked great on an old TV in a customers boat! Easy Install!

I bought this Roku Ultra (2024) unit because my Roku Streaming Stick was failing due to overheating issues. It was easy to set up and allowed for easier placement. The new remote is rechargeable, so no more looking for spare batteries. Definitely more responsive than the Roku 4K Streaming Stick.

Works great. It improved my picture quality. Great selection of default services. Finding it easy to set up and to use. Like the backlit remote. I liked the Ultra so much I bought a sound-bar Roku for my office TV. Really improved the sound and picture on that TV.

Same Roku you know and love with a little more performance and the rechargeable control is clutch. Been about a month and haven't had to recharge yet.

We have been ramping up our streaming service in order to get off our cable. Our new smart TV was buffering a lot, so we bought this Roku device to minimize that. Works like a charm. Fairly easy to set up and no buffering issues since we installed it.

Love this Ultra Roku. Lights up when touched, voice activated and extremely fast

really like it, after we set it up my wife decided to get a smart TV which we purchased from best buy a week later. gong to be set up by the Geeks on Tuesday. going to use this device on my grand daughters TV. Great device for steaming and apps.

Had to buy this to replace our older Roku Ultra that suddenly died after around 3 years of use. Initial set up was easy, however, a few days afterward there was a purple shade to the TV picture. Had to reset the Roku multiple times, including unplugging both the Roku and the TV before the picture returned to normal. After a month, the issue has not happened again. We really like the simplicity of the Roku interface and the consistency of having the same for all TVs in the house. Hope the new model Ultra lasts longer than the previous one.

Had a friend who owns Roku devices recommend this to me. Speed and flexibility to support the apps I needed plus support for 4K to match new OLED TV I recently purchased. Rechargeable remote needs no battery. Built in wifi excellent.

It was on sale so I decided to upgrade my 2018 Roku Ultra. I noticed no difference in performance or picture or sound... However the backlit & rechargeable remote is a game changer for me. That made it worth it to me. My 2018 Roku was heavier and seemed better quality and the new one seems light and "cheap". But I've mounted my Roku to the back of my tv - so the lighter material is actually better for that. I absolutely love the Roku platform, any and all apps are available. I wish Roku would make some high end TVs so we consolidate everything!

This Roku's rechargeable remote is a game changer! The thing I've hated most about Rokus is having to constantly change the batteries in the remote. Now waiting for the A.I. version that allows you to communicate between apps! Would recommend and buy again!
