Roku is good player can watch all streaming services.

Just started reading directions on how to hook it up and info on Roku. I'll rate it after I use it. So far i'll give it a 4 star.

I have many of these and they all work wonderfully

After 4 weeks, Roku Ultra stopped maintaining its connection to the internet. In the middle of a program, it would suddenly lose its connection. Tried both Ethernet and WiFi. Same result. It's in the trash bin.

Excellent device. The only downside is the ancient remote technology. A SMART remote would be a major improvement.

Malfunctioned 4 days after the return window closed. I'm back to using my older device that needs to be rebooted every day at least once and must now deal with manufacturer I guess. Sigh.

Device has ads plastered every 10-15 minutes. Either pushing their sports channel. Hate sports. Or pushing ads about some witch show. Have absolutely no interest in either. Some other channels shovel Viagra ads or other drug ads. Sometimes 4 or 5 ads are played then watch 5 minutes of the show. For a 30 minute show plan on 1.5 hours of ads.

It will take some getting used to the usb charging over batteries, as with past models. This is my 8th Roku, so I am hooked. One problem I have experienced, is the occasional desire to it wanting to re-boot. (not certain that this is due to the app being used, in this case: APV... mid-viewing, or long-term use - being on for so long) time will tell.

Picked up alot of programs but after a few days the sound went out. Went back to the old Roku.

Sound goes out and you have to restart theRoku over again.

I started using Roku devices in 2015. I'm done with them. This Roku stops outputting sound if I switch to another input and don't use it for a couple hours. Have to cycle power on the TV to wake this up. Happens multiple times a day. RCA cables always work; why is HDMI so hard to get right.

Stopped working after just 12 days and when requesting support it reflects that I have none on Roku's support website. Dead remote batteries already also. Good thing I have total tech support and can get a refund and avoid this brand altogether in the future.

Defective after 3 months, no one wants the blame. All expect you to buy the extended warranty....is this because they know the product will become defective ? Not impressed, especially after seeing the defective remote posts and issues...what happened to quality products and companies behind the product ??

The main reason that I bought this unit was that it could be hard wired to my router. I have other Roku units but where I have my TV there are several walls and sometimes the show stops because of buffering issues. Now I do not have to worry about this problem any more. Now the other thing is I save $160 a month by dropping my cable box for the TV and just get what I want to watch on the internet through streaming on the internet. Two other factors to point out is that I can just use one remote now to control the TV and Roku device. The Roku remote can turn the TV on and off and control the volume. I have not tried the voice activated feature yet nor the silent listening. The sound is fantastic compared to the speakers on the TV. It has lasted over a month on a single charge (shows 80%), (You can check the status of the remote charge).

Too many errors. Keep getting HDCP errors and with certain configurations the audio is delayed by seconds.

This device isn't as good as the Roku device with speakers ( one step up) I keep getting error mesages from this unit. I have reset it and it still seems to not function properly. Buy the unit one step above this as you will be totally satified.

Failed after 9 months - no output signal. This is the 3rd Roku product that lasted less than a year. Time to try a different brand.
