I originally had the Roku 4 player and the Roku Ultra is just as good so far. Love not using batteries due to this one has a rechargeable battery. Time will how long the remote battery lasts. So far so good.

Bought to replace a very old Roku. This Roku 4 Ultra plays all the newer video streaming types from my PC server. Old Roku could not do beyond .264 Extremely good battery (rechargeable) life.

Everything seems to function more quickly than my earlier version of Ultra. Colors appear richer. Roku is just a superior streaming product. Even the Roku channel programming is better than you might expect. Tons of Apps to choose from, too!

Love the voice command an better range it has and the charginging of the remote

This Roku is a lot faster than it's predecessor, the apps and channels open up so much faster, I couldn't be happier, a lot less buffering when streaming.

I recently purchased a new Roku Ultra device, as the previous Roku Ultra I had for several years stopped working. I like the slightly more-compact size of the new device, and the rechargeable remote is a nice improvement over the one that came with my previous model, which required batteries. However, I've begun experiencing a problem since I started using the new device. Whenever I pause the device for an extended length of time, I lose all sound. This happens regardless of what streaming service or channel I'm using at the time. The only fix is to restart the Roku device, which is extremely annoying and frustrating. I never experienced this problem with my previous Roku Ultra. I have shared this problem with the Roku Community, and it appears I'm not alone, as many users have experienced the exact same problem. Roku has responded with troubleshooting suggestions, but none of them make sense, as it appears to be a software update glitch.

Very user friendly menu and remote control. Many menu options to customize the user experience. Recommended this product to dozens of others, and they all have the same excellent experience.

As the name implies, you expect a high-end product when it has "ultra" in its name. This unit did not disappoint us! We got this for our home theater system and it integrated seamlessly and performs great! We have a large house and I was a little concerned about the distance from our router and choose this unit in part because of its reputation for great WiFi connectivity. In the two months we've had it, we've never experienced a glitch in audio or video--and we stream everything! The Roku menu system isn't fancy, but it's easy to use and responsive. It's easy to move your streaming services around on the menu so that your most popular streaming services are at the top of the menu.

Great product pro the price. The chargeable battery seems to last me quite some time without having to charge the remote. The options/ features makes it a good purchase.

My granddaughter, install this in less than 10 minutes. She enjoys all the different channels. Of course, I’m her favorite grandfather. For now, anyway!
