Got a Roku for every old tv in our new house. Works great. Much better than all the money we wasted on a new Sony google tv. Google TV was recommended by Best Buy sales guy. It’s terrible. Hard to use. Forced to use the limited # of apps that Google holds. Save thousands and just buy a Roku device.

Lets face it streaming is one of the best ways to watch anything and I wouldn't get anything other than the Roku Ultra. I've had a plain smart TV and bought this to use instead of WebOS(because it's so slow).

This is a great all in one for all of your streaming.

Roku interface is nice to have for all age groups. The head phone port is a huge plus for shared living spaces where everyone is doing their own thing or the bedroom to watch without disturbing your partner.

Roku is OK, they keep getting worse and this concerns me and I can’t stand the same commercials every day over and over. I am working on cutting the cord from Roku.

Works great! I really like the rechargeable remote.

Does most things I needed it to do. I mainly use it for streaming and YouTube but there is no way to access the internet on it which the Firestick gets a point for. Quick and responsive. No noticable lag. UI could be better. Still uses micro USB which is a PITA when all my other electronics use USB C.

I bought this Roku device from Best Buy because cable TV became too expensive. Roku offers so much free TV and many pay per view options. A great purchase at a great price!

Works well, easy to set up for a non-techie person

What I like is the easy set and the down loading of the Application

I had to figure out how to pair the remote with tv’s remote, Then I had turn off the narration that announced ads and movies before starting I’m glad I turned it off.

Roku is still the most flexible small factor streaming device. Other devices try to force you into their walled garden like Amazon or Apple, for the most part Roku does not. It also works well with your network files and a handy plex app for when your away from home and need to stream your own content.

I have used Roku streamers for years, the last one being a Roku streaming stick. I LOVE this Roku Ultra! It still has the same simple user interface, and the response time is very fast with no lag. I'm very pleased!

Well, out of the box I had an HDMI cable failure. No audio pass through. Only took a few seconds to figure out since I’ve worked with electronics longer than most Geek Squad employees. No point in taking it back because next time I may get a working cable but a bad remote. EEEEH. It’s always Roku when I get it from BestBuy. So who is to blame? I hate that I paid $100 for something that 1/4 of the equipment failed straight out of the box. If you get one and everything works, then great. If you have trouble with your Roku box or stick then don’t be surprised. I’ve had so much trouble with Roku devices I’m used to it. I keep Universal remotes and extra HDMI cables just for them. But if you want to know how THIS box works… The box itself works fine. Did I get my money’s worth? No, only 3 of the 4 major components worked. Either Roku or BB owes me $25.

It was awesome!! We had no internet and wanted desperately to watch the Superbowl game. Went and bought a Roku, hooked it up and we got the Superbowl!! I love my Roku

Great upgrade from the Roku Streaming sticks. Much faster response and loading times with the Ultra. I bought two of them. One of the rechargeable remotes would not play sound through one side of the earbuds. Called Roku, they sent a new remote within a few days and all is great.
