It has a network port, great remote

It is quicker, and I like it has a network port, as I like to hardwire my entertainment devices (TV, streamers, gaming consoles, lighting hub). A rechargeable remote is a plus.

SUB-PAR PERFORMANCE AND FREEZING ISSUES.

Purchased about 12-15 units to date (we have them in all rooms with a TV). The new 2022 unit with the rechargeable remote just keeps failing us with sub-par performance. We've encountered constant FREEZING when we stream (we have top-of-line internet equipment) just on this new model. Our other older units do not freeze. We can sometimes resolve the issue by unplugging the unit and doing a recycle. The remote requires charging it with a included USB cord but too frequently. Batteries were so much better and lasted month. We tried hard-wiring the unit as well as Wi-Fi 6 but to no avail. Have also tried complete resets of the device itself. Just not the quality or design Roku's once had. Avoid the sub-par performance.

Hope nothing goes wrong

Called Roku support, after trying roku online support and being told it’d be $79 to have a tech help try and fix the problem, and after going through several attempts to fix the roku from not showing anything on the screen they said there would start a warranty exchange. Been almost a week now and no update. I’ve called and emailed with no response. Seems like they want the sales but don’t care to help fix an issue when something happens to their device that still fits within the 1yr warranty window. My device won’t even hard reset and just has the white light stuck on. Nothing has worked. Should have just bought the amazon firestick.
