Problems with the rechargeable battery

Great Streaming Media Player

We had 4 in the house already, and purchased a 5th one to use in our vacation rental. Great product, and Roku is able to load/run the Xfinity Stream App.

They are portable, so we take them along on travel. We take them along for extended vacations. Easy to set up. Easy to use.

Roku for Van

Works fine, except when playing a movie from usb, it turns off after an hour. Not sure if it's a Roku thing, a power from the van thing, or both. When it's working, works great though.

Good little app controller

I did have all the apps on my Sony 4k TV, I do now. Alot of free stuff to watch and support 4k and all the Dolby sound systems..Atmos DTX..etc.

Absolutely terrible experience

While it streams video perfectly well, I fully regret not buying literally any other streaming player, although the Apple TV seems like the best option to me now. It starts with the constant ads that are everywhere on the home screen. Then, I have to dig through settings to make sure that they don't sell my data to advertisers. A few months after I first purchase it, I get a notification on the device that the terms and conditions have changed; I must agree to the new terms in order to use the device at all. I later find out that the new terms include rules to protect Roku in court—they just had to hold my device hostage for me to sign it. Really disgusting move. Then came today, and this was the last straw. I finally upgraded my WiFi to one that supports WPA3 Personal, only to find that my Roku Ultra, which I purchased in late 2023, doesn't support it. I wanted to talk to Roku's customer service, but they have no phone number available. I have been waiting for a live agent in their text chat service for forty minutes.

New but not better

It stops streaming on its own or just freezes the movie. Also it has a on light that stays on all the time that you can’t turn off , that is bad . I will not buy it again

The screen looks a bit fuzzy so im not sure what im doing wrong or if its just not compatible with an 8k tv

HDCP concern

I turn off Roku and turn on my blue ray player. Play same u-tube video and plays fine. I never get HDCP error on blue ray player. I like the remote control on Roku.
