It’s a reasonably priced streaming device that doesn’t have obtrusive ads like the amazon devices. Its easy to use but the user interface I admit could look a little nicer. But functionally it’s nice. I’d like to have the option to be able to power it on and off to conserve energy but I don’t believe there is. With a recent update, it will auto shut off after not being in use for some time. The past month it seems like it’ll lag but I’m not sure what that’s about. I like that it has an Ethernet connection to help ensure consistent internet.

IT IS THE BEST ! In our home we have bought 7 Rokus . At the present we have 4 ROKU PLUS ULTRA Now we are enjoying Netflix, Disney ,Hulu, Funianimation ,Spectrum .etc. A Roku TV is more than a smart TV , that it's true .

Bought this as a replacement to our older Roku in the family room and it’s phenomenal. I wanted this one specifically for its ability for Ethernet connection. We have a lot of devices in our home so avoiding being on Wi-Fi definitely helps. The newer features like find remote and the quick buttons to match the more relevant streaming providers is super convenient. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade there current streaming or just get another one.

We have used roku for a couple of years even with our smart tvs. This one is even better than the 4k express, and got it on sale.

Very easy installation and has the latest software. Remote is versatile with voice command. Recommend this Roku even if one has a smart tv.

We have a chromecast on all our tv's. However our daughter gave us one of these for our Media room. It is do easy to just ask the box to find what you want instead of searching everytime. With voice rempote you can do just that. It's easy tos et us and configure. Remember to always buy the protection plan for items like this. I need to replace one in another room, we purchased from Amazon and with out the plan we would have been outof the purcase price.

Have been using my Roku - Ultra Streaming Device 4K/HDR/Dolby Vision for just over two years now. Even though my 49” Samsung TV is incapable of displaying 4K/HDR/Dolby Vision, the remote control’s voice command, programmable buttons, TV on/off button, and TV volume control buttons have, in my opinion, been well worth the price to upgrade from an earlier ROKU model.

This ilRoku is ok. The battery doesn’t last that much, plus the power button doesn’t work. The remote is partially broken. I hope I can send this back to Roku so I can get a new remote.

Overall this is a very good streaming appliance. It locks up once in a while but I think they all need a reboot once in a while. I bought this to replace the Roku streaming stick that was acting up and it outperforms the stick by a mile.

It makes my streaming experience better with the 4K quality video. Bought it especially for my daughter who wanted “Disney” button. she Loves it.

When it works it works great. But the problem is I am using this as an alternative unit for the Xfinity box which I was told can easily be swapped out and work just as good. Well not so much. I see they only are working on a Beta version for Xfinity and I must say so far I am not impressed. It looses picture often and needs to be plugged out and reset with the WIFI more often than I care to mention. My wife is already fed up of the constant drop time. I am the one needing to do the reset each time so I am also getting to the breaking point. If this is Beta hope we work out the bugs soon!

I'll start with the cosmetics; it's attractively packaged and all boxed contents were pristine. Both the Roku and remote are small and therefore unobtrusive. Functionally, it works as claimed and all features, like finding lost remote, worked. On first startup it did a software update without requiring action by me, which I like. The Roku found my TV (Samsung) with only a couple of button presses on the remote. Good because I can control most TV operations and the Roku with one remote. The remote is simple in a good way, although I'd like to be able to program the bottom four preprogrammed buttons. The included wired ear buds work, but good headphones are better. Still, being able to plug headphones into the remote and have the audio system muted is a great feature. If you're considering 'cutting the cord,' the Roku is a good choice. The 4K/HDR/Dolby Vision features are great if you have a suitable TV. I haven't fully tested the voice remote so no comment at this time. Yes, I recommend the Roku Ultra and I'm pleased with my purchase.
