This Remake of the original Romancing SaGa (Originally Released on the NES and only in Japan.) retains all of it's qualities and difficulty (Which they have provided an option to slightly alter.). You pick from one of 8 Characters and follow them on their story (The other 7 are Recruitable depending on the Story.). You do not level up in the normal sense, you gain stats based on what you do in combat and learn moves by 'Glimmering' (You randomly learn a new move while in combat.). The game is one of the hardest in the Genre, but the difficulty is worth it as few games are like it. If your looking for a New JRPG that does things differntly, this is your game. There's also a Remake of Romancing SaGa 2 that's even better if your interested. Lastly this version adds even more new content not present in the original OR the PS2 remake, with new characters and the like.
