Misleading

It is advertised as being able to burn all dvds and cds to make backups but it only does that for dvds that are not copyright protected. Basically ALL of my dvds are copyright protected. I have over 3000 movies on physical dvds and blue ray that are taking up a lot of space in my living room. I wanted put them all on one hard drive so I could get rid of the physical copies. Unfortunately, if you are looking to digitize your legal movie collection for space saving purposes, this product will not do it. It might work if your movie collection is already bootlegged however. I didn’t bother to return it because I should have read the more about it before buying it.

I had purchased a new laptop not long after purchasing the program. The process of reinstallation has not been enjoyable.

Roxio easy CD&DVD burning 2

Installation proceeded to the registration dialog (mandatory, not optional) but would not allow entry of serial number (box greyed out) and user cannot proceed from that point. Internet connection, proxy settings, and firewall all checked and not interfering with any other software installations. No support or info available online. Returned for refund.
