    BACKED UP MOST OF MY VCR TAPES AND IT WORKED GREAT. MY VCR QUIT WORKING AND NOW IM LOOKING FOR A VCR TO FINISH CONVERTING. ALL IN ALL IT DOES A GREAT JOB.

    I had to return this as within 5 test recordings the software/hardware stopped displaying the "preview" of what was playing on the VCR. I contacted support and was asked for a ton of information to gather on the device/setup with photos. I sent this in response to the email... NOTHING. NEVER heard back. Have a case number, no way of seeing it, it's progress, (or lack thereof). Support not only was useless, but they also cost me a lot of time gathering information, call, writing, etc. As this is a "Corel" product now, I'll be sure never to buy anything from Corel because of this experience. Past the Support/Not working issue, When it worked, it did capture files/videos however the interface is horrible, clunky, and hard to use. It took a few tries to try to get it to save my files to my large non-boot disk. I can't imagine trying to use this software to make and edit videos. Don't buy it for that or plan on just using what you record and put the VCRs directly to DVD with minimal niceties.
