    Bought the Roxio VHS to DVD Plus software to transfer my old 8mm movies and it's done a pretty good job. I thought my movies where lost forever because it costs a lot to transfer your old movies to DVD on the on-line services but, with this software I was able to do it myself and saved a lot of money in the process!

    While the program seems to have all the features we need, there is virtually no instruction manual worth anything, even on line. We have watched a couple of YouTube videos made by third parties to try to get a better understanding of this product.

    Very difficult to use and instructions are incomplete. Seemed to work ok with files of a small size but had no success with large files.

    Save old VHS to digital. Easy. Connect VHS to Computer and go thru menu.

    With a VCR directly connected to a laptop with the cable provided, I could “view” the content on the VHS tape. However, the file that was created would not save to a DVD. I had to split the file to get it to save to a USB flash drive. The software has a few editing features which are very basic. For my project, it is not useful as a split file. So for this reason, I am disappointed with this product.

    Used this software to rig an older video camera to the computer for recording. Works decent overall. I noticed that most recordings won't actually record the first 5-10 seconds of the video. Also not the most intuitive interface.

    Still trying to get this to work. I can see the record button grayed out but it's not active so this has been useless. And software isn't returnable even if it's useless so this was a waste of money for me. Google it, I'm not the only one with this problem and haven't found a solution yet.
