    I bought this system because I want to dub personal VHS items to DVD, and DVR-VCR combos are no longer available new. I haven't used this yet, but it seems to be a useful alternative. My rating is based upon its potential. so I can't give a recommendation based upon actual use.

    Using product to digitizing miniDV tapes. PC had no issues recognizing the hardware and the transfer software was easy to set-up and use. Very pleased with the results to-date.

    first off i got it on windows 11 and works fine the only issue that i had is that the program doesn't display what is being recorded but it dose what its supposed to do

    Transferred camcorder tape to a used re-write disc--did not play real good on my dvd player--I'll have to try on a new disc. At least I have the recording saved on the computer memory. Getting on sale made the cost reasonable.

    Its not easy, I am still waiting on someone to come here and hook this up for me, seems I need a working lap top which I need to borrow. So as soon as I get this up and running I will reevaluate.

    I am reviewing the young gentleman that helped was, Renzo. He was very informative, helpful and patient with both my daughter and myself. Not pushy at all, mostly patient, as we had many questions. As far as the product, well we'll see.
