Definitely cheaper than paying bigger companies to transfer yous old vhs into dvd's. This also includes a software that allows you to cut out any chunks of the video you don't want.

Once I loaded the program into my computer, the issues began. Took days to hear back from tech support and one issue still hasn't been resolved. Hoped for better.

as above, got a vidbox product got the job I wanted done a little better! If I wasn't stuck with windows 10 on my computer it would have done a great job!

Does not convert the micro or mini vhs cassettes and this is not disclosed.

It will not let you choose a folder where you want to send the digitized video. Instead, it chooses some obscure place and good luck finding it every time you digitize a video. You cannot change it. Roxio customer support sent only boiler plate, long, involved geek speak "solutions" that resemble nothing on my iMac. They promised to call, never did. I got the same boiler plate useless information 3 times. I tired for too long to fix it and now I cannot return it. Don't waste your money. Try anything else.

This product worked well with old vhs tapes transferring to dvd. As to be expected, the dvd resolution was not great, but the source was vhs resolution.

Bought this to transfer old vhs home movies to usb. Worked beautifully. Website support was fantastic and helpful. Got the job done.

I downloaded their software from their website for windows and it made my laptop crash. I still can't use my laptop, i might need to configure my laptop back to manufacturer settings.

It works so far. A little hard to use some of the features. Will try to get used to it.

My sister asked me to dub a couple of old VHS tapes she had of her son as a boy performing in a play and doing some modeling. This was to be a Christmas present for him and his new fiance' The unit worked very well and I was able to burn to DVD with no problems or quality issues. Very pleased, as I was anticipating a lot of user blogs and tech support work,,, but NO!

In review this is a great option to have and to convert to an alternative media file! We all have somewhere VHS,VHS-C or another version that needs to be preserved for the future watching pleasure.

I am very excited about this purchase because I have so many memorable events captured on a VHS tape that I can now transfer to a DVD.

No more wasting $$ putting TV content I want to keep onto DVD=R. This has worked great to store them digitally. High quality files are large, but storage drives now have plenty of space for them.

I wanted to save my old VHS tapes to DVD. Unfortunately, compared to playing the video through the TV using my VCR, the quality of the video recorded with this product is poor. As a test, I created a DVD using the video that I recorded, but there was no improvement when I played the DVD through the TV. It's grainy and stripes appear across the top of the window with some tapes. I contacted Corel Customer Support for help, and although they had some suggestions, none of them improved the video quality. I am using the composite video connection because my VCR doesn't have an S-type connector. The product works, just not very well. However, you can record audio only from records (I haven't tried that), and an audio editor is included that has graphic and parametric equalizers for editing audio.

I had to install it 3 times on my computer and it still won't transfer to a dvd.

Very simple setup, awesome to be able to view old video tapes! Was quick & simple to setup & watch videos of our kids growing up. Priceless deal!

Works great but documentation leaves alot to be desired. Finally figured out how to make multiple dvd when videos would not fit on one disk. Did not use the sound editor.

Achieved my goal of copying my old cassette tapes to digital and VHS tapes to digital. Unfortunately, poor quality VHS tapes are no better digitally - don't wait.

Works great. Picture quality is ok considering it’s RCA, though it does have S video in but I dont have an S cable.
