Good capture unit for vhs tapes.

Captured a lifetime

Had to submit video clips for a lifetime achievement award. Needed to convert old VHS clips ASAP with no editing experience. This Roxio worked better than I had desperately hoped for.

Does not work with my Sony camcorder

I followed the instructions multiple times and tried it on two different computers. One of the computers is a gaming computer that is less than two years old. The problem was that the software did not detect the video source from my old camcorder. the red record button was greyed out. after several hours trying to make it work, i gave up. i would not recommend this product.

Transfer Hi8 tapes to Digital.
