    Easy to operate, but you need the red, white, and yellow cables to connect the VCR to the device. Those cables are not included. It's been operating smoothly.

    Don't bother with the cheaper ones. They're extremely difficult to use. This product was very st8 forward to install and use. Very intuitive. Roxio has been around since the '90s or so, doing just this kind of analog-to-digital conversion software. It still takes some time. But I was able to put my 8mm in and record for an hour unattendent. The quality will only match that of the original recording.

    Very intuitive installation and operation. Playback works well through standard dvd player. Could not play back on computer without the installed software.

    I wish it had more features, but I did buy the less expensive version. For what I paid though it provided everything I needed to get the job done. Good Product

    The Software appears to do as advertised, but having trouble actually Burning to DVD once copied to my laptop. Maybe I'M the problem.....we'll see!

    Just what I needed for a project. Had to submit video clips for a lifetime achievement award. Needed to convert old VHS clips ASAP with no editing experience. This Roxio worked better than I had desperately hoped for.

    It does a good job of capturing my vhs videos. It sometimes has a glitch but just reinserting the installation CD and hitting repair fixes the problem.
