This was one of the better options available for capturing video on the Mac.

I like this! Note that you will need to install software!

I only was able to transfer 4 out of 12 videos so far but it could be a problem with some of the old videos as some of them were made by family in Germany. I will call someone as soon as I can locate who to call for assistance.

it does what its supposed to do but it doesn't have a lot of features

I am an expert computer user and still could not get it to work. I tried it on MacBook Pro’s, iMacs, Mac Pro 2010, Mac Pro 2013, G-5s, etc. I also tried every operating system from Lion to High Sierra and still did not work. I would not count on any tech support from the company.

OK product. Unable to run and update, not too sure why. There were some lag time in recording vhs to computer when connected.

Easy way to transfer my VHS tapes to digital. Some tapes family activities are starting to deteriorate so I need to get them converted soon.

I thought there would be more ways to edit the videos.

The product was defintely worth the cost. You don't spend a lot of time setting up and the learning curve is minimal. However the quality of the VHS to DVD is average. No HD or high resolution besides standard.

Great for capturing footage from devices that are no longer supported on newer platforms. However, image quality isn't the best.

I had high hopes when I bought this item. After installing the software, all you need to do is play the video & it is recorded to your computer. Very easy to use.

I had many family movies on vhs and vhs-c tapes. It easily converted my film to a digital format . The memories are saved. I would recommend to anyone wanting to save their old tapes.

I found Roxio's VHS to DVD "easy" just as it says in the name. I was hooked up and running my first transfer within 10 or 15 minutes.

It works as advertised. S-Video does not seem to work but it might be my old cable. I do not have another to test. Not a big deal since RCA connections work just fine. I am getting the job done.

The product did the trick. I needed a product that would allow me to connect my VHS player to my Macbook Pro to capture video. It worked flawlessly.

It's probably the issue for software but sound and video never matched. I tried few settings but it didn't match so I ended up returning. Good thing I checked whether I can return this item if it didn't work with the salesman before the purchase.

Great product. Helpful to get the old memories off VCR tapes and onto DVD's where they can be shared easily.

I read a lot before i bought this item. I have had no problem with it and would recommend it to anyone.

Really not ready for Prime Time. After a couple of email exchanges with Corel, I finally got this from their (offshore?) support "... The issue you experience appears to be normal as I also experience the same issue sometimes and what I do is to try changing the Quality from High to Medium or close the application then unplug and replug the USB device just like the steps you did. Since this is still a cause of inconvenience, we have actually forwarded the issues you are experiencing to the Engineering team. However, as of the moment we cannot guarantee when a fix will be created to address these issues. If a fix will be released in the future, rest assured that it will be updated in our software update page from our website. ...". Not acceptable.
