Very easy to set up and then transfer all of your old videos to your computer and to DVD if you want.

After a week of support from really helpful people, I gave up and returned this. I WISH it would have worked with my older Mac desktop. As soon as I upgrade to a newer computer, I will repurchase this exact software and try again. Check all the install requirements carefully.....they mean business.

Transferring old VHS tapes to Mac was very easy. Quick set-up, easy to use interface. The only catch was some of the longer tapes caused a failure, most likely due to the size of the file being created. In all, I was able to move a lot of home video at a fraction of the cost of hiring it out.

This product is easy to use. I was able to make copies of my VHS tapes and the video is very clear.

This software and device works in a superior manner. I able to convert my VHS to digital format. It seems to work well with other video softwares like Final Cut Pro, IMovie and etc. You will be happy you bought it. I use it on my Mac computer. Also very is to use

This converter is very straightforward and easy to use. I hooked up an old VCR to the converter and plugged it into the USB port of my computer. I've been converting home and work videos to digital and it is super easy. I haven't yet tried burning DVDs but that looks easy as well.

Very handy gadget for transferring VHS and 8mm home movies to DVD. I bought this after finding out how expensive it was to have this done by a video transfer service so, I decided to do it myself and saved a lot by doing it myself.

It works better and easier than I expected. I went into the store intending to buy a different product. The salesman told me that it really worked well and he has never had one returned. He also told me that if I was not satisfied, I was welcome to bring it back.

Worked well for me using Mac, sometimes audio didn't sync with video but that's because my computer was running slow with limited memory. I cleaned it up and it worked great.

I was using Pinnacle and this product is far easier and produces a cleaner quality video. It comes in PC and Mac. I would recommend this product.

This is a good product to convert pictures and tapes to digital format.

Bought this after trying the VidBox unit. As it turns out, neither one worked. I’m not sure though if it’s the products or my ancient Sanyo camcorder. I used the red, white and yellow RCA plugs at one end and the other male connector into the camcorder….got no picture at all. I think I may have gotten different results had I bought an SVideo instead of RCA plugs. After the frustration, I decided to turn my 8mm tapes over to a professional…job done. Like I said, I can’t necessarily blame Roxio…more than likely the wrong cables.

This is just the product I was looking for. It does more than transfer VHS to DVD. I was able to connect each of my old camcorders (mini DV, DVD Handicam, VHS camcorder, Super 8 camcorder) and transfer videos directly into my Mac.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter. She & her husband have studied the family tree and created a collection of home movies. This has easily allowed them to back the old VHS tapes up to DVD discs. They love it!

This product was recommended to me as a way to transfer VHS tapes and Laser Disks to an electronic format. The instructions were relatively clear and the setup was easy. It worked great through the first two disks. Then the trouble began. At random points the software would crash, requiring me to restart the entire process (and leaving a hard-to-find temporary file on my hard drive). I tried all sorts of solutions found on the web, but nothing worked. I tried switching to VHS with the same results. I have since found a workaround, but it is a long and tedious process. Until the software issues are fixed, I can not recommend what should be a fine product.

I tried it and works. Not the last software or for the last computers.

The soft ware was easy to use and the program was great for beginners.

I haven't used so much but it worked for the conversions I did.

Great product. I bought it to covert VHS tapes to digital format. Easy to use on my mac book pro. Well worth the money. I'm glad that the local store had it in stock.
