    Program does as advertised, taking VHS output and converting to digital. The program is very buggy though. It crashes during the save process on longer videos. I had to manually babysit, versus hitting record and walking away. Several times, crashes cost me hours of conversion time.

    Perfect for recording home videos from VHS to DVD. Not so easy for me to use, but my kids had no problem figuring it out.

    Works well. Need to remember to import to imovie right after a movie is recorded or have to go thru more steps to record. Sometimes need to unhook to get it to record correctly it didn't recognize sound.

    Worked right out to of the box. Simple and easy to use. Decent software that was fairly intuitive to use without directions. I was up and digitizing my videos in 20 minutes.

    I am technologically challenged but wonder if this version of Roxio is compatible and easy to use with iOS Catalina. I used to get by fine with Handbrake, but IOS apparently does not work with it and that is very disappointing. I may have to see if I can find someone who knows software better so I can digitize my personal videos - homemade and commercial - that are in my ownership without getting too complicated due to fears of ripping and law.....

    NOW WE HAVE ALL OF OUR OLD CAMCORDER TAPES ON DVD AND HARD DRIVE. IT WAS SO EASY TO USE

    This item makes converting your old stuff very simple. I was worried that it would be complicated but it is very easy to use. I only wish it had DVD burning software included.

    Does not work on current Apple operating systems (10.14.6 ). I purchased it and it did not work. I called the manufacture and they told me to return it. Went back to Best Buy to return it and they told me it can not be returned because it had software ( an obsolete CD still sealed in it's envelope) included. I ended up just leaving it with the store manager.
