It's a bit loud, but don't think louder than other models. It works good. I had to buy one because our AC is broken and waiting for insurance company to replace it. It handles a living room and dinning room for making it tolerable. The hose could be designed better. It fell couple of times before I could make it stay in place. I am happy with my purchase overall.

It’s listed at 8000 BTU but in reality it’s actually 10000. Definitely recommend at this price compared to other brands. If you go to the Royal Sovereign site. It’s listed at over double the cost. So happy with my purchase. Only feature missing is a heating unit.

The air conditioning discharge/airflow is at a 45 degree horizontal angle with no adjustment. Doesn’t circulate air as well as it could so it’s not optimally efficient.
