The Rug Doctor - Portable Spot Cleaner did the job as intended.

Wonderful to spot clean our new puppy’s accidents!

Works great clean the inside of my truck and it did a great job

Easy to use and to carry around. Cleans good. The only problem is the suction hose gets kinked up when trying to wrap it up in the casing after use. I am afraid the plastic will eventually crack and then leak or lose suction.

this is a great little machine...perfect for home use.

I use this bad boy all of the time, it works really well, does what it’s supposed to. Took one star off because for the price, I would expect better build quality, the plastic seems pretty cheap, sometimes the small sprayer hole leaks. Also wish the hose was a little longer.

Very pleased with it for the time I had it still decide to stop spraying out the soap & water mix had very hard time finding this very same one had to go with a another brand not so pleased with it, miss my old rug dr.

Cleaned up any stain and was very impressed. 10/10

I bought t s because I have all hardwood floors with a few area rugs. This works, however I would use it for upholstery and furniture only. It works well, but size and feature set don’t make it conducive for anything over a few square feet.

Rug Doctor effectively cleaned most spots on my carpet including some spots that had been in the carpet for several months. I also used it to clean some two high traffic areas. It cleaned all stains except a two small stains that have been in the carpet for at least two years and it removed most of those two stains.

Had purchased bissel portable steam cleaner two separate times and both times the hose ripped near where it exits the unit. Due to the location of the rip it was unrepairable, rendering it useless. Decided to try this unit and wish I would have seen it sooner! Excellent product

Powerful suction easy to empty the waste water....

Great cleaner. Perfect for the small, quick jobs I was needing it for. Be careful when using the spray function. You may be soaking whatever item you're cleaning and it may take longer to dry. I have no complaints for this machine overall though.

We have a 19 year old cat and accidents can happen. We can whip out this Rug Doctor and clean up in a flash. A quick spray with Spot Cleaner and just straight hot water and "presto!" Carpet cleaned. 5 to 10 minutes and we're done without having to rent a huge carpet machine or calling a professional.

It gets the job done well enough but be very careful to make sure you clean it out really good or it will stink bad. Also leaks quite a bit from the dirty tank.

We needed a small cleaner for pet and people accidents. I wish it had a smaller tank, so we tend to wait until there are several posts to clean to make it worth the time to load it up. But once we do, it does a very good job, even better if spots are pretreated.

Our dog was recently diagnosed with cancer. She's lived a wonderful, full life at 11-years-old, but is now seeing some dreary days. She's having a difficult time making it to the door and outside to go the bathroom. As a result, our rugs are taking a beating. The Rug Doctor Portable Spot Cleaner has literally saved the day. The product came packaged nicely, was very easy to remove, and had minimal excessive packaging (which is good for the environment). It arrived almost completely assembled, so there was no fiddling with parts or hefty directions. The directions for cleaning are easy to follow. The unit is definitely portable - equipped with a roller-luggage retractable handle and long reaching cord. There is no need to bend over or pick it up while in use. I was impressed with how easy it was to fill and replace the tank. On several machines that I previously owned, it was like trying to fit a square into a hole. This is not the case with the portable Rug Doctor. The machine is extremely lightweight, so that even the kiddos can help, when needed. The nozzle and sprayer are easy to operate, the scrubber is motorized to aid in cleaning, and the suctioning is powerful! The rug was left feeling only slightly damp, not sopping wet like experienced with other brands and models. The dry time was quick, too. We didn't have to wait hours upon hours before we walked on the surfaces. The spots that we tackled were between a month and a few days old. Each and every spot came clean--even the nastiest that appeared to have been accidentally stepped in by our pooch (who no longer has the best balance either). There are several places where the dog has tried to hide the fact that she had an accident. Most rug cleaners would not be able to reach these spots. The compact design and portability of this Rug Doctor machine is second to none. It was able to get to even the most elusive areas. I highly recommend the Rug Doctor Portable Spot Cleaner to anyone with kids, pets, or lively life partners. I purchased this with some skepticism. However, I am very pleased with the quality and power that this portable vacuum packs. I purchased it because we have pets....it works well. Still looking for a good urine removal solution though...
