I have three cats and a dog. I need to clean areas soiled by pet vomit, kitty litter, or dirty paw prints from the mud regularly. This machine has great suction and i like the way the brush cleans. My only complaint is that the head is not removable. It would be nice to be able to clean upholstery and carpets with different attachments. I have had other machines with different attachments, but this one has more power. I rather go with cleaning power. You just have to clean the nozzle after every use.

This product works very well for spot cleanup. I purchased for cleaning my boat carpet and it works well. My only complaint is that it has started leaking some.

It does the cleaning carpet job. I do have two dogs and well they have accidents. If you want a carpet cleaner to clean the whole house not the product for you. It's more for spots, stairs, car interior. Although if you don't mind the work you can carpet clean a whole room by hand. I did clean a room took an hour vs. buying the carpet cleaners that look like vacuums can take less than half an hour. Over all it gets the job done. I recommend.

This little machine has pleasantly surprised me. It really does have awesome cleaning power, great suction, and super easy to clean up. I highly recommend this product. This is by far the best at home carpet cleaner I've owned. It makes short work of nearly any mess I put in front of it and with 3 pets, that can be a wide variety.

Great vacuum! Lot of power and nice and compact. Tanks clean easily, so maintenance is a breeze.

This is not the first rug cleaner that I have purchased, but it just may be the last one, and I mean that in a positive way. This one works better than any of the ones I have had in the past. I bought the Rug Doctor because of the name, and so far, have not been disappointed.

Replaced a Bissell rug spot cleaner with the Rug Doctor version. It appears to be sturdier than the Bissell and I hope that it will last longer than that machine. The Rug Doctor cleaning brush does a good job cleaning spots, but it was more work to use than the Bissell.

This is one of the best tools I have ever bought. We have 5 dogs and this thing is a godsend. Light weight, easy to use and it really works.

If you're looking for a good solid spot cleaner this could be your answer. The main reason for my purchase was to clean pet stains (mostly cat vomit) every now and again. It does clean well. I plan to also use it to clean furniture and maybe car interiors, but haven't yet. So far everything works fine. The wheels are an great! But the best is probably the ability to open fully the dirty water tank and clean it out. The cord is fairy long and the wand is too. The big reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the plastic is very cheap looking, like a child's toy. It does seem like it will break easy, but so far nothing to report.

Worled better than the other store models I've tried little green etc. It would be nice if it was stocked in more stores. I had to drive out off my area to buy it.

Bought this after getting new puppy. Love that it can be easily carried by handle or wheeled. Long cord. Great suction. The only beefs I have is that the plastic see through cover over the brush that sucks it up is difficult to clean. You basically have to rinse under water to rinse away dirt which isn't impossible, just a pain. Also, you have to fill the entire thing with hot water. So If you only have 1 or two spots, you waste half the special cleaner(which gets pricey) and water. Overall, it works great for us.

This portable cleaner has magnificent power in suction and it does really clean. However, there is a major issue: IT LEAKS. It is alright for me if the leakage came from the clean water tank. But unfortunately, the leakage came from the waste water tank which is really bad. With common sense, I have a work around of this issue. Another bad thing, I could not find the cleaning solution in any store which is the rug doctor portable machine & upholstery cleaner. One last thing, rug doctor please improve the user manual, it's terrible.

This little thing is so powerful and cleans so well. We’ve had it for quite a while and then brought home a puppy and this Rug Doctor has been such a handy tool. When our puppy has accidents, we whip out this carpet cleaner, spray the area with soap through the nozzle and start cleaning away. The area dries so fast because the suction on the Rug Doctor sucks in majority of the soap and water used to clean.

It does a good job cleaning spots in carpet and furniture. Just be careful not to dump all of the dirty water out when you remove the reservoir. I would buy it again.

Cleans really well with plenty of suction. The handheld brush is very bulky to work with and the button for the brush is in a bad spot. Constantly hitting it when using it. Other than the that overall design is good, good quality, good set up on the water tanks, with a decent length cord and hose. Cleaned my car and furniture with it and it did a fine job.
