Only used it a couple times so far to wash carpet. Easy setup and worked good. Compact and decently light. Im no expert but it gets carpet clean. Vacuumed carpet with my shark first to get up dog hair so no issues with clogging.

Works great! Deep cleans and easy to use. Will refer!

I have had more than 7 different carpet cleaners over the past 5 years and I thought this one was going to be the best. However, while this cleaner does an amazing job in cleaning carpets it will not use enough water to actually clean odors from pets. The cleaner does not use enough water for pet urine/accidents. If you just want to clean carpets and have fast dry times, then this would be a great device however, if you have pets...look elsewhere. This machine is also very easy to clean and holds a large amount of water. Also, before anyone asks, yes, i used the super boost water spray feature and it still did not do enough to clean pet urine.

Easy to use, does a good job defiently worth the money!

This is my second carpet cleaner and I love the Rug Doctor! It is easy to fill the water tank and remove. I was impressed with how this machine cleaned my carpets! The only regret I have is not purchasing the Rug Doctor the first time!

What a great machine. I am so happy I purchase this item because it's easy to handle and it really gets those stubborn stains out of your carpets. The attachments worked so good on my stairs getting every area of my stairs with ease. My only complaint is how many times you have to fill the water and soap dispenser up when you are using the machine. I wish somehow the water and soap compartment was bigger to house more water and soap so that you wouldn't have to stop during the cleaning to refill so many times but other than that, it's really a great cleaning machine that gets the job done like a professional and I love it.

Been through 4 different types of carpet cleaners. Some lasted a year, some last after a one time use. But nothing has preformed like this one. It really gets the job done.

I bought this machine over the other name brands for one reason - amperage. This is rated at nearly twice the amperage as the other leading competitors. That should equate to greater suction and drier carpets. After using this machine I was generally pleased with the results. Carpet looked great and was not overly saturated. If you've ever rented a rug doctor, don't expect this one to match the weight and suction of the commercial units. It will get the job done, but won't be quite as thorough as the larger rental units. The water reservoir is a decent size and will allow you to cover approximately 50 square feet between refills.

I have always bought Hoover carpet cleaners in the past but I read several reviews online about the Rug Doctor so I bought it. It works great, easy to use, great suction power and leaves carpets looking clean and looks like a professional came to my home.

I looked at the cheaper Bissell, but decided to go with the Doc. We are in an apartment, and this thing cleaned the carpet so good, you could see the scotch guard again. We will be leaving this carpet cleaner than when we moved in! Highly recommended!!!!

I'll keep this short. Easy to use, more powerful than you can imagine. We have a cat and it blasted away the cat smell it left on our carpets. I was surprised by how well this machine worked. It worked even better than the big rug doctor you rent at stores. The only one tiny drawback is cleaning the brush/bottome area is a bit annoying. But once you figure it out through trial and error, it's not that bad. However this minor inconviennce will be nothing when you see all the dirt you just ducked up in the tank.

We have gone through several steam cleaners over the past few years and hands down, this is the best one for the money without having to buy the expensive commercial rug doctor cleaners. My biggest complaint is finding a place to store it when we are not using it.

Bought this carpet cleaner in preparation of having our first child. So far, I've used it to clean the glider for the nursery and to clean our living room carpet. It did both well. The furniture attachment is Ok. It tends to store water, which means it will leak all over when you go to wind the hose back up. I have also noticed that the clean water tank tends to leak some water as you transport it from the faucet to the machine itself. Other than that, I'm very happy with the purchase.

Bought this to replace a cheaper carpet cleaner. I never realized how much dirt we were leaving in our carpet. Thas machine is amazing!!!

I have had many rug cleaners. This is very easy to use. I can see the dirt actually lift. You can feel the suction. The handle goes many ways for the shorter people out there. Can fold down handle and store away. Came fully assembled right out of the box. I own 3 large dogs and cleans our rugs very well.

This carpet cleaner lifted dirt that was in my carpet for two years I thought the carpet was bad and it was just really dirty The Rug Doctor picked up all the dirt and made my carpet look new!

It works very well. Have had other steam cleaners in the past and this is better than the others we have had. It has the power to get out stains that our other machine was unable to get out.

This carpet cleaner works great. Very little assembly required. Virtually ready to go right out of the box. Well worth the money.

Not to pleased with the tank size, the used water container leaks from bottom when emptying the container the new water container also leaks from the nozzle when returning to install into the main machine. It is at the adapter point where it connects to the main machine

This is the best cleaner I have ever owned. I have purchased at least three machines and been disappointed in all of them. This machine did a much better job of cleaning than any of the others. I am disappointed by the small size of the holder for the water/cleaning soap. You have to refill it quite often. A larger holding tank would be nice.
