Did a great job on the shag rug. I've owned Hoovers and Bissel they were not as good as this. Steady and strong powerful suction and the rotating brush kicked A** on the long shag fibers.

easy to use excellent cleaning power much lighter than old carpet cleaner

I’m very happy with the quality of this carpet shampooer and the sucking is by far better than any other product I’ve used. So I would strongly recommend this for small jobs but the tanks are just to small for commercial work or even large rooms for personal use. I purchased to use for apartment cleaning but it just won’t do larger jobs. Hope this helps!

This is the best shampoer I have ever used! Adjustable height handle means no more back aches. The separate cleaner and dirty water tanks are just great. They are so portable and easy to put on and take off. It cleans like a professional company came in. I will never own any other shampooer.

Great product, possibly one of the best on the market residentially until moving in to commercial quality. The only downside is the water tank size, which is fairly small.

Scrubbing you have to do very slowly. Sucking the water you have to lift up the handle a bit for better suction. I wish it had a bigger tank for the clean water though.

Cleans well heavy real heavy but it's better than the bissel brand

Works similar to the big ones you can rent and it pays for itself after a couple uses. The hand attachment is great for steps, cars, couches, etc. simple to use and our last one lasted years I just happen to drop it and break the front piece which didn’t look replaceable.

I bought the rug doctor after having two other cleaners I was shocked at the dirt it pulled out and my carpet was white again there is no comparison. I wouldn't buy the other brands again none of them did what the rug doctor did.it extracted all most all the water back out and the floor was dry in twenty minutes. Love it easy to use and store.

This is by far the best carpet cleaner I have ever purchased. Rug doctor has definitely done there homework on this one. You won’t be disappointed.

This is the best carpet cleaner I have owned so far. I have a bissel, and a hoover also. I used the hoover to clean the carpet and let it sit for 3 days, then used the Rug Doctor and it pulled so much dirt and filth out of the same room, it looked like I had never done it before. The fill tank is small and runs out quick but it has been worth it. My whole downstairs is so much cleaner!!!

Our Rug Doctor that we had finally gave out after 10 ears of great service. Picked this one up because we're getting a little older and the other one was like the ones that you rent. This one is easier to store when not in use as well as a lot lighter. Easier to use and does just as good a job as the old one.

I have had several different Carpet Cleaners over the years and I can honestly say this is the BEST one I have ever had. It is powerful and easy to use. I gets the carpet clean and the water extracts beautifully! I highly recommend this machine!

Works well for carpet cleaning. Takes time to learn the right speed for cleaning entire floors to not go through cleaner and water quickly. Could use bigger clean and dirty water collection bins but they are compatible to other products.

I find this Rug Doctor does a superior job, cleans and removes stains as promised, leaves the area clean and dry.

This is the best home steam carpet cleaner I’ve ever had - by far!! It is so easy to use and cleans much better than Hoover or Bissel. I wish I had gotten one of these years ago. It would have saved me so much time and effort and headache that steam cleaning carpets does.
